Easiest method I've found for this achievement is to choose the easiest map (Open Cave or wtv its called)
Wave 1- The goal is to get your units spawncamping as quickly as possible, if your direct your bugs to go directly for the enemy base, however, they will reach a stalemate with the enemy before reaching it, Build up a small wave of swarmers, i usually do this at the final curve in the map, before commanding them to rush the base. If this succeeds it will buy you about 7 waves to focus on infrastructure. For Perks unlock the builders as quickly as possible, and the spore launchers followed by flesh walls. Disable Auto-Goo and get place them next to the enemy base, not on top of it. It is important to establish a Hive near the base, out of reach of the enemies but close enough to cut down on unit travel time. Putting perks into nutrient production is helpful but not crucial. After builder unlock slugs as quickly as possible.
Wave 5- place a few spore launchers around the base, and build walls surrounding it and on top of it. This combined with the swarmers should buy you a ton more time.
Wave 10- once you have boom slugs, place them directly on top of the base. Keep spawning builder and slugs, everything else is mostly pointless now, make sure the builders are repairing structures and you're good to go. Congratulations, you've effectively unlocked infinite waves, just upgrade walls fully, slugs fully, and swarm spawn and capacity, and the sheer chaos of the slugs detonating simultaneously will wipe out entire waves at a time. I got to wave 57 before my game started to freeze.

Thanks this worked fine and helped me get the achievements, got to level 103 before i called it quits.
