How to be a clown (Death's Harlequin, Luck build)

A clown's guide on how to be a good clown

Quick way to be clown

1. Go to clown town
2. Prank the other 4 clowns
3. ...
4. Profit.

Go to the clown town

I had enough clowning around. I will be a bit serious from now on.

Harrow-Dus location is South-East from Moon-upon-Thoss. Shouldn't be hard to go straight there. "Skipping" enemy encounter should make it easier.

When you arrived you will get +2 Devotion Points.

Prank the other clowns

press G to show "The Gods screen". Worship every gods, one by one, with "Death's Harlequin" as your last worshiped god. This should give you +2 Devotion Points, completing "Become cursed by every other god" devotional task. This lets you to have "Luck", "Puppet", and 1 2-cost skill of your choosing, which gives you +15 finesse, useful for dodge (you really need this for this build) and for your weapon (Rapier or Epee).

note : make sure you have the serpent's eye stone or the task will be bugged

To use this build, always use "Luck" on combat. It has 69 (nice) duration per cast, ~3 per movement (you move faster while mad, "Luck" always makes you mad), 15 per attack (dagger & finesse weapon). If you have less "Luck" duration than action's time-cost that you want to do, recast "Luck" first except if it's safe to not to, since being hit while mad makes you stunned, which you probably do not want to be, but with enough dodge and block, you should be very hard to hit however, so you don't need to worry much.

When you get stunned, using "puppet" to stall or use "Pierce" to escape might be a good idea. If you have anti-stun consumable, use it after you recast "Luck".

note :
ranged enemies can still hit you. It's a pain. Don't use this strats while fighting ranged enemies

I found an item which grants you a lot of stun defense. I had a 60% stun defense, still get 100% stunned when i got hit while mad. With this in mind, i don't think stun defense will give you any benefit running this build.

And that's about it. Go out there and make a clown of your enemies.

i run a cross betwen blind angle build and the blood lady (idk her name) where i go blind to get 2x damage and the use star shot point blank range to annilate what ever is infront, side, and behind me. also i use converge form the lord of dust to turn blind into hp. as strange as my build is, it works.

Alternatively, curse can be lifted by donating at the god's town. (2500G)
This isn't affected by tax and also make the people in that town like you and make buys lower, sells higher.

If you burn the special Icons of the gods, the curses of the gods can be lifted. The icons each cost around 2k and can be bought in the starting big city. Have a good jesting, friend.
