Far Cry 3 Fix [Multiplayer|Co-op|Deluxe Edition content]

Hi guys! In this guide I will tell you how to restore all game content that has ceased to be active after the servers are closed.

Preface

Before starting the guide, I need to say that I took the information and all the files from these guides and simply put them together to make it easier for you:

Deluxe Edition content

Ubisoft has closed the servers, which means it is impossible to obtain additional content legally. Well, there is a lockstring generator for this, it generates strings into the GameConfig.xml file and opens the Deluxe Edition content.

We need download two files

1. Generator[github.com]
   
2. Net Core 3.1[dotnet.microsoft.com] (for the start generator)

You need to open the archive with an archiver (for example WinRar or 7zip)

After this you need to run the .exe file. The generator will start, it will have two input fields. In the first one you need to enter your nickname from Ubisoft Launcher.
Click "Generate", text will appear in the "LockString" field, all you need to do is click on the "Write Xml" button.
After you will receive a notification that everything was successful.

Note

If your username doesn't work, try using your old nickname. You can watch it on the Ubisoft website.

How to check whether DLCs have been activated or not?

Very easy!

Go to the game and look at your map. You should see these marks.
If you have it. So everything went well. It is worth pointing out that the Deluxe Edition includes the next DLC:

• Original track - Far Cry 3
  
• Exclusive Assignment
  
• Revolving gift
  
• Tattoo Pack
  
• Far Cry 3 wallpaper

You can also open them using the mod "Ubisoft Connect Rewards Unlocker"[www.nexusmods.com]

You can download wallpapers and music officially from Ubisoft connect, to do this you need to open their launcher (You must select the standard version of the launcher). Go to "Games", click on Far Cry 3 and then click on "Rewards"

Multiplayer and Co-op

In order to restore multiplayer and co-op you need to download "bin.rar" archive from Google Drive:

All files from the archives must be transferred to the "bin" folder and replaced
There is also "data_win32_-_superpatch_1.0.7z". It's also necessary for our goal, unfortunately ubisoft closed their servers and now you can play online mission only in offline mod, which this patch opens.

Transfer all filed from "data_win32_-_superpatch_1.0.7z" to data_win32 folder.

Note #2

Perhaps this only happened to me, but when I downloaded this patch my saves were gone. So before downloading these files, save your saves!!!

However, I don't blame anyone for this, maybe it only happened to me. My advice is to go through the story and then download this patch and play with a friend

Ubisoft did something that I can't understand. It's okay to disable online multiplayer, it's understandable, but disable local multiplayer? What's the point of that? In Far Cry 1 and 2 you can still play over the local network using Radmin, they literally buried one of the best FPS they ever made. RIP Far Cry 3
