All the same, female saiyan's HP tends to be around 86% the size of the leading HP gauges, which is plenty if the player isn't wasting their time and movements.
That's probably the major difference in my thinking compared to the usual way of thinking. I treat stamina and ki like they're fluid rather than a battery to fully recharge and deplete in a janky, inefficient rotation. Burst charge keeps the action going all day, maximum charge has potential on the same principle, but the apparent player base favorite, ultimate charge, is just anti-action, anti-efficiency garbage, just like spirit surge.
I feel bad for being rambly.
Basic combat (and, by extent, video game) methodology,
- The odds of success are in one's offense.
- The resistance to defeat in one's defense.
Female saiyan is definitely at its best when there is no SP dumped into health. I had all three damage types maxed out before the new cap, and that crushed pretty much everything. New cap forces the player to pick a lane between damage types; I vie for basic and one super at 200, then putting the remaining 22 into the other super just in case, but putting it into HP is the next best thing for unconfident players.
Female saiyan.. I dunno, man. Maybe I'm deluded by playing her almost exclusively, maybe I'm deluded by never seeing anyone compete with my usual PQ, raid, or cross versus proficiency, but she seems atrociously strong to me on the methodology of "chances of success in one's offense."
One of the wonky things about Xenoverse 2 altogether is that focusing on damage per minute is a much, much stronger method than worrying about damage per second. Her basic attacks are definitely on the weaker side in terms of their literal damage, but their ease of access to stamina breaks and slams to make good on ki ultimates is freaking insane.
