Getting Spore:Galactic Adventures to run on the Steam Deck, Arch Linux, or Linux in general.

Steps

Step 1

set a launch option in properties-general for Spore Galactic adventures
PROTON_SET_GAME_DRIVE=1 %command%

Step 2

change version of proton to 5.13-6

Step 3

go to the reg config file (home/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/24720/pfx/system.reg)
edit it with any text editor
insert this anywhere in an empty space

Step 4

copy DataEP1 (in your spore install folder) into Data

Notes

1 - I made a protonDB and reddit post about this as well

2 - A lot of the tinkering was done by another ProtonDB poster, Nozdormus, for Linux Mint 20. I simply modified it and changed it to work on Manjaro.

3 - This has been tested on Manjaro Linux (running arch), and my Steam Deck, in both gaming mode and desktop mode.
