Adamant core for V0.3.1

This guide will tell you how to easily get through the game. It's all about the "OUTBURST" adamant core ability, which has very strong aoe damage at high level, and the "Reflective Punches" enhancement, which will help you discard weapons.

About build

First you will need unlock the "Power transfer" talent from "Cipher cloud" in order to recycle weapons / abilities into credits. You will also needed unlock talents "Shop Restock", "Extra Credits" from "Cipher cloud" for Huck's emporium store, since all the credits will go to buy "enhancement core". For an additional chance to get "enhancement core", you will help unlock the talent "Reroll Hacks". For this build you can use any secondary core, they all have nice bonus for "OUTBURST".
The "OUTBURST" ability becomes very strong around level 15, so you need to get as much "enhancement core" as possible. When you start the run, use "Power transfer" to the all things you found for recycle into credits and buy "enhancement core" in the store between floors. The first thing you need from "enhancement core" is the "Reflective Punches" enhancement, which can be used to replacement weapons. Try to complete all events in the room, for an additional "core enhancement".



The priority choice for "enhancement core" is OUTBURST upgrade > PUNCH upgrade > FORTIFY upgrade > SECONDARY CORE upgrade > all other upgrades.

For more safe playthrough, you can spend "enhancement core" on the enhancement "Phoenix Protocol".

@beastwood i did this over 5 times with the same core against the same boss, yet i haven't unlocked is there any required number of times to get it or my game is bugged ?

@Fiddu to increase core affinity you have to kill the boss who have this core. Example: to increase the affinity of the "VOLT CORE" you must kill "VOLT COLOSSUS".

i would really want to know how the affinity system even works i have tried everything yet no core gets it's affinity increased, selected the specific core enhancements, fought with the same bosses of the cores and such or is it a new feature added in a later patch ?
