Achievements Guide + DLC

A guide of how to perfect this game.

Unforgotten

1st Game Over.
Lose all your plane lives during a level.

Battle Born

Shoot down 10000 aircraft.
If you don't have this achievement when you completed the game, I recommend playing the survival levels to progress faster. Personally I would choose Chapter 5 Level 4 since there are a lot of planes from what I see. If there's another level that has more planes than that level please let me know.

Pilot Training

Reach Squadron Level 30
Level up to 30. You will eventually have this throughout your gameplay of the game.

Action Hero

Shoot down 700 aircraft with an active ability
This one is a bit tough but you will need to destroy planes by activating your ability from the bomb or the meteor ability.

Submissive

Accomplish 20 Extra Missions
Complete 20 side mission from the levels.

Dream Team

Survive a level without losing any wingmen
Complete a level without a single loss of your ally. Set it to Normal mode if your struggling.

Finders Keepers

Discover and collect a hidden ugrade coin
Received a skill coin from a loot crate during a level. Loot crates are spawned from planes by destroying them. Chances are you won't have it first try or maybe lucky enough to get it. You don't need to complete the level to have the skill point, you can leave the level after claiming it.

Death from Above

Destroy 50 ground units
You will need to destroy 50 flaks/tanks. First appearance in Chapter 3 Level 2.

Ace Attack

Defeat 5 different Aces of the Luftwaffe
Destroy all Bosses from all the chapters. Difficult progression, you can set this to Normal mode as this achievement don't require a difficulty to earn it. Recommend using skill points on firepower, damage, unique powers from your allies and the power-up crate ability maxed.

Natural Selection

Defeat 20 different enemy aircraft types
You will eventually have this achievement during your progression of the game.

Squadron X

Finish Chapter 4 of the Allied Campaign
Beat Chapter 4.

Freedom Fighters

Finish the Allied Campaign
Beat the game. You can get this achievement on Normal mode, no difficulty requirements.

Private Fleet

Unlock 5 new aircraft models for your pool
Unlock new aircraft by defeating the bosses. May need to retry more if given upgrades for your plane and allies planes or from a skill point.

Greetings from Hell

Burn down 1500 aircraft with the flamethrower power up
Destroy 1500 planes with only the fireball power up weapon. Do not get power up crates until your flamethrower weapon is out of ammo. Repeat the process.

Precise Cutting

Destroy 200 aircraft with any laser power up
Destroy 200 planes with the green laser power up weapon. This also counts for the spinning green laser power up.

Mass Destruction

Destroy 35 enemies within 1 second
To get this, go to Chapter 3 Level 4. There will be a whole fleet of planes coming from the right side. Gather enough planes that fills up the screen and use the bomb active ability.

Unfriendly Touch

Destroy 125 aircraft by crashing into them
Crash into 125 planes. Highly suggest equipping a plane that has reduced collision to it.

Master of Engineering

Repair 30000 hitpoints of your wingmen´s aircraft
The girl pilot can only fix planes, upgrade her repairs from the skill tree to progress faster.

War Veteran

Finish all levels of the Allied campaign on hard difficulty
Complete the game on hard mode. This one is a bit challenging, only for the bosses the rest can be easier to complete. (I played hard mode on my first playthrough and the levels are not that hard, just for the bosses I had trouble with.) Always upgrade you and your allies of the skill tree and obtain new planes with a good rarity to it..

General’s Slave

Accomplish all extra missions of the Allied campaign at least once
Complete all side missions in the game. You can set this to easy mode to finish side missions easier, no difficulty requirements.

Overpowered

Upgrade all abilities of the Allied squadron
Max out your entire skill tree. The max level is 145 which leads to a total of 145 skill points to it plus 25 hidden skill points from all the levels to a total of 170 skill points needed to max out. I recommend grinding the first boss of Chapter 1 or Chapter 5 Level 3 Boss. From my own advice, set the difficulty to Extreme (must finish the game first on any difficulty) and grind Chapter 5 Level 3 Boss fight as its the most easiest and fastest way to earn medals. It only has phases 2 of the fight and that's it.

No Mercy

Finish level 5-4 of the Allied campaign without any enemy surviving
Highly recommended to upgrade you and your allies damage and fire rate, a good plane with good stats to it and the active ability of calling in power up crates and the meteor ability. In Chapter 5 Level 4, don't call in for power up crates in the beginning and instead use the bomb ability or the meteor ability, get as much covered in the screen until it's at the half way line in your screen. Then you can now start calling in crates. Remember to also use bomb or meteor ability's too often.

No Panic

Finish level 3-1 of the Allied campaign without causing any alert
In Chapter 3 Level 1, don't trigger a single alarm throughout the level. This level is challenging and hard to explain in text. Highly recommended to set it to Normal mode.

NOTE THAT THE YELLOW SPOTLIGHTS IN THE GROUND DOES NOT TRIGGER THE ALARM!!!

No Scratches

Finish level 1-4 of the Allied campaign without receiving any damage
In Chapter 1 Level 4, you will need to complete the level without taking a single damage. This one is easy to accomplish, you can set it to Normal mode to accomplish this easier.

Bird Whisperer (DLC)

Defeat as many Crow soldiers as possible!
In Chapter 3 Level 3, the crows will first appear in the game. You will need to destroy 25 crows.

Face your Fears (DLC)

Collect fears while Siegfried is hallucinating!
In Chapter 1 Level 1, your character will hallucinate and need to collect 10 fears. You will need to collect 50 fears in total to get this achievement. You don't need to finish the level to save fears, you can always restart the level once by having all 10.

Dark Passenger (DLC)

Defeat as many enemies as possible with Dark Holes!
You will need to destroy 15 planes with the dark holes power up upgrade. The weapon that sends out purple bombs to the screen and it is the max secondary weapon. I recommend to go in Chapter 2 Level 1 as the power crates will spawn more frequently.

Iron General (DLC)

Finish all levels of the Axis campaign!
Finish the DLC game.

Ghost Shepard (DLC)

Defeat a Crow Commander without allowing him to heal!
In Chapter 5 Level 4, a huge crow will first appear. You will need to destroy it fast before it heals.
It heals when a ghost plane touches it, if it touches, blue healing particles will appear and will grow bigger.

Ace Nightmare (DLC NEEDED)

Defeat all boss enemies on extreme difficulty!
Very hard achievement to get in the game, you will need to defeat all bosses in the game (Squadron One and the DLC) on Extreme mode. From what I experienced in the DLC, the last boss is total hell for me. From how I grinded skill points in the DLC was farming Chapter 1 Boss and later on to Chapter 5 Level 3 Boss or The Wolves on Chapter 3 Level 5 after leveling up my necessary needs to move on. These Bosses are the only one I can find and that are faster and gives good amount of medals.

For squadron one, I grinded Bosses Chapter 1 and Chapter 5 Level 3.

Here are some upgrades you should achieve that I would recommend getting to beating all bosses on extreme
