Introduction



I played through the game twice, once on normal and once on easy mode to get the ones I missed, but you can just get it done in one run. The bulk of the achievements you'll just pick up as you play through, with only a handful that require some active planning.
Tutorial
Consists of three missions.


Master trainee
Every evil genius had his first day of work.

Finish the tutorial.









Campaign 1: Double Blind


Consists of four missions. You get two agents who you should prioritize levelling up to max as they have achievements tied to each of 'em, and they also give an extra maxed out guide fear card (free use) per agent.

Start the campaign (any difficulty) and watch the intro cutscene









The battle of Great Britain
This time, the islands WERE conquered.

Giant
You still haven't been infected with black gold fever?

Implant pumps in all the cities in a mission (can be achieved on any mission/ campaign)









A rival with no options
Strike without mercy: the best defense is always a good offense.

Mission 2: Attack your rival and burn their cards ASAP without any of them activating.








The barbarian invasions
They say that Imperial Rome fell in less than 500 days. (Only with Jen in Italy)

Mission 3, conquer Italy under 500 in-game days









Vaccine fans
Denialism? Not on my watch, buddy! (Only with Jen in Asia and Eastern Europe)

Mission 4, don't let the vaxfree nation put down cards in any region long enough to activate. Burn out their cards ASAP.

Campaign 2: Shaking Hands

Consists of two missions. You get one agent (Dante) who you should prioritize levelling up to max as he also has an achievement tied to 'em, and you also get the opportunity to pick up an Arcana Card that is required for the Skeleton Hand achievement.

Convert all Utopia cards in a mission







Troy is burning!
No region is unconquerable for an experienced Master. (Only with Jimmy in New Athena)

Mission 2: ID your rival, explore the cities until you encounter "An Unexpected Partner". Later in the "Grand opening of the Main Library" event, choose the "Crimes and Punishment" option, A rival dialogue appears, choose the option "Act innocent" which unlocks an incursion opportunity & gives you "The Cartographer" Card (required for Pulp! Skeleton Hand achievement). Use this card to open one of the locked legend types in Moho district. I picked Passion cause the Utopia card in that region turned to that category.

Achieving excellence in Mastery isn't easy... But no one ever said it was.

America had no Faith
You have kept the country away from the influence of the W**** of Babylon. (Only with Santos in the U.S.)

Mission 2, defeat your Rival Lorre, before she has a chance to play any of her cards.








ECO mode
But, do you know how much pollution is generated in refining essences? (Only with Santos in Isla Verde)

Mission 4, do not use your Refinery in the cities (don't convert any of your essences). Rely on pump generation with each round and use the legend cloning ability. Makes the mission significantly easier.







A new Hindenburg
Make no mistake: the only good zeppelin is a defeated zeppelin.

Defeat your rival The Children of M and watch their blimp crash.








Thirst for Oleum
Because getting 1000 in one go isn't a question of luck.

Generate more than 1000 Oleum from one round (can use refinery + pump generation + the machinist lucky card)














The adventurer
There's no detail of Iñigo's life that is unknown to you.

Level up Iñigo to max.
Unlocks Guide Fear Card: OPPRESSION









The scholar
Layla's story doesn't hold any more secrets for you.

Level up Layla to max.
Unlocks Guide Fear Card: MADNESS
Pulp! Collection
Individual Legend Card Specific

The Basic Idea is to pair the legend card with its corresponding category, along with the region that has that local myth. Upon levelling up the card to level 3, it transforms and you get your fully evolved card.

Legend Cards Collection Achievements

These are pretty self-explanatory, collect all the cards associated with each of the categories from your book. There are 6 categories.



Pulp! Tales from the Crypt
All the HAIR-RAISING Guide Fears are already in your album.

Guide fears are collected by levelling up all your agents.
Campaign 1: Eliphas gives you the Hell Card and Renee gives you Oblivion Card
Campaign 2: Dante gives you Weakness Card
Campaign 3: Layla gives you the Madness Card and Iñigo gives you the Oppression Card



Pulp! Skeleton Hand
You have managed to collect all the AMAZING Lucky Cards.

You get lucky cards by progressing through missions. Collect all the Arcana of the Lucky cards. Use them 3 times per "family" of Lucky cards in order to get its Arcana.
The Storyteller, The Enemy, The Spy, The Cornucopia and The Machinist are given to you periodically, very easy to collect them. The Cartographer needs a few steps to unlock it (refer to Troy is burning! Achievement in Campaign 2-Mission 2 for details)


Pulp! The Perfect Crime
Your album is HORRIBLY replete with... Power.

Collect all 15 Power Legends










Pulp! Weird Science
Your album is TERRIFYINGLY replete with... Form.

Collect all 15 Form Legends










Pulp! Heart Throbs
Your album is FRIGHTFULLY replete with... Passions.

Collect all 21 Passion Legends










Pulp! Mister Mystery
Your album is HIDEOUSLY replete with... Occult.

Collect all 23 Occult Legends














Pulp! The Vault of Horror
Your SHOCKING album of legends is finally complete.

Collect all 74 Legends cards (15 power, 15 form, 21 passion and 23 occult cards, book tells you details for the missing ones); 5 Guild Fear cards (check Pulp! Tales from the Crypt achievement), 6 Arcana Cards (check Pulp! Skeleton Hand achievement) and 45 Utopia cards (Campaign 2 and 3).

Some additional tips:
-You need each legend levelled up to 4 (the maximum) for it to be added to your album.
-The Sudden Death timers don't seem to activate until you are able to broadcast your last message on a given map. So if you just deliberately avoid fulfilling the conditions in one or more regions, you can keep going and work on max-levelling legends, defeating rivals, working on optional objectives and achievements, etc.

It worked! Simply by fooling and exploring around, without slotting legends first, the game time was extended dramatically. At some points oleum even dropped to negative. Guess this achievement is not designed for speedrunner:papyruswacky:

I have noticed that the destruction progress can be carried on to the next level. The problem is that each level ends too fast. In some levels, Children M doesn't even have the chance to show up after the main rival is defeated. Perhaps I finish the levels too fast. I'll try slow down a notch to see if I can manually prevent the sudden death event until meeting Children M.

@RealistAdi the damage you do to the zeppelin is persistent across missions. You can tell by the number of satellite dishes it has on it each time it appears, because as I'm sure you noticed, one explodes every time you defeat one of their schemes and that satellite dish will remain exploded next time it appears in a mission. So if you consistently damage it enough you should be able to bring it down by the end of Santos's campaign. I didn't bring it down until I was almost finished mission 4 myself.

In addendum, I think on the first 3 Santos maps, you can not wipe em out fully, only 2 actions worth. It does keep infiltration progress and "dirt" though, so you can at least stock pile those early.

I think I intentionally delayed things on most of the Santos maps. Basicly running the sudden death timers close to their limits. I suspect it might be possible to selectively "forget" certain actions, like slotting a legend or clone, and thus not count as "close to winning" so the sudden death timers dont trigger.

Great article! I am wondering how you complete the Zeppelin achievement. Each round ends too soon that Children M doesn't even have time to make his move. Is there a way to prolong the time without triggering the sudden death event?
