Beginners guide to get an OP second character, and True Method.

Quick small guide to obtain an OP second character with 10-30k HP and true method.
Warning: Guide contains some spoilers.

Started playing this game 4 days ago and came up with this somewhat optimized method.
Found a lot of cool stuff thanks to other guides, like the English Guide, and game discussions.
Such as transcribing books onto a bookshelf for 1k gold, only to sell them for 2k gold. Doubling your coins.
Or double dipping your meridians to get x4 more stats from all meridians.

When selling kungfu books to ships, you can make a new big 60 square world, run around selling books to ships with coins, then restart the world and make a new one. Repeat selling to get infinite doubled money.

Run around selling transcribed kungfu books to cargo ships with a bookcase in your inventory all the way up to 1 mil.
Make sure the books you are transcribing are worth 2k. Like Yi Jin Jing method.

I would say, grab as many karmas as you can with your first character, then go get imprisoned on the gate mountain island to the far north of the map across the ocean.
This will unlock the ability to make second and third characters.

I recommend saving one slot before all of this so you can load back if anything goes wrong.
Make sure to make a chest on a mini world with only 1 square. Then fill the chest with some manuals, legendary gear, chi boosting items, and some money. (Put 1 million coins in there if you want to get true method.)

Then break the chest so it turns into "Lost Items" which you can take for free on another character without stealing. Make screens and surround the chest so NPCs can't path find into there, and you can just jump over them to get to the chest.
If you want to play it even safer with your "free items" make a small house, then put the chest in there before breaking it. Surround the door on the inside of the house with screens so NPCs can't path find into the house. Make sure that the ceiling is tall enough for you to jump over the screens.

Also make sure that the 1 NPC that spawns in with you on a 1 island has a green personality title so he doesn't steal your stuff or burn your house/screens down.

Then go and imprison your first character on the northern gate island in your original main world.
If you have already cleared that northern gate island, just make a new world and go north from there.
You might also need to encounter the world flooding event before they will imprison you, but I have yet to test it.
Save before doing this so you can always load back if something goes wrong.

Now that your first character is imprisoned, you can make a second and third character.
Make a quick throwaway orphan second character without karmas. Just skip through everything in creation. Then make him pick up 1 million coins from the lost chest on that 1 square island then return him to karma to get True Method.
You can pick up the million coins later as well, so don't worry about the money too much.

Finally make a new OP second character with some nice karma choices and true method, then go open the lost items chest on that 1 square miniworld you made before.
Feed this new second character all your chi items, and manuals then go rescue your first character. You can even make your second character your first character's son by choosing lineage.



True Method can be ridiculously OP if you place your meridians properly.
The double dipping method from the english guide goes a long way. I managed to make my second character have 31k HP just from the double dipping and true method combined.

This character started with 2k HP, because he has a sect master as his parent.
Sect masters start with 2k free hp! (crazy, right?)
All of their children inherit that 2k hp as well, so you can make them your second character's parent and get boosted from your bloodline.
Or if you somehow made your first character's bloodline super OP, then become their child instead.
(If anyone knows how to make your bloodline starting stats higher, please tell me.)

Example of double dipping would be making 1 line through all of your meridians then connecting it to the opposite side of your big red center.
Then the 4 other sides of your big red center connect to the first meridian on the path you just made. Like this:

Double dipping like this won't reactivate your inner kungfu, but it will give you 4x more stats from all of your meridians. Quite OP!

(I used meridian shift pills from my first character's kung fu tournament championship, and chi boosting items from various shops and serpent ganoderma from the cargo ships to get my chi super high on my second character.)

I hath only played 4 days, so take this guide with a grain of salt.

First Character getting imprisoned unlocks the other two 'character slots' in the menu. To get across the water you either travel by shark (bad option) or 'jump' across the water.
Best to learn how to water jump using the lakes beforehand and to work on your timing.

Why not just kill the first character? Why he needs stay in imprison? And this mountainous island gate at the northern end of the map, across the ocean, how do I cross the ocean? Sorry, I'm noob yet!

Should still work, but I am unsure as I haven't played the game very much since becoming a demigod in game.

Parents are entirely random. Re-make and re-select your karmas to re randomize the parents.
In order to get sect leaders as optional parents, you have to have the noble scion karma activated.
You can't play as your kid, but you can become your kids' kid.

What determines who is your next character's parents? I had a powerful husband and a kid with over 4k vigor but when I made a new character all my options were fishermen and miners.

I earned 1 mil simply from going around the map and stealing everything that wasn't nailed to the floor.

Vendor buildings usually have 10k that slowly regenerates + items. Clinics are the best, because you also get to steal all the pills for increasing Chi. I robbed every sect, including the libraries that stored their techniques. I even robbed the sect leaders of everything they got, including their clothes they were wearing. I even robbed the Dynasty commander, that guy is stacked with almost 100k gold and silver.

Long story short, geomancy makes the game's economy a joke.

I tried but something seems wrong after I send my orphan 2nd character to return to karma
In the choose your parents menu of the new 2nd OP character, my first character show up but it didn't say Sect Master as he was in the menu for the orphan 2nd character... My first character was indeed a Sect Master. (Btw, I saw my first character in the one lot world when I try to pick up the 1 million).

So the new 2nd OP character that I am trying to make don't have high vigor... seems to be the same as the 1st one even with the karmas I chose.

Any ideas where went wrong?

I don't know if it is just me, but your wording is very confusing :s

Now I'm playing on my first character and trying to learn EVERY skill I see. should I be doing that or is my work ALL wasted?
