I really like this game but made the mistake of leaving mars almost immediately and getting obliterated by demons.
My last run I had a class chip, which was literally the only reason I was doing that mission for a faction, and instead of evacuating because I didn't know I could, I tried to dive deeper to quickly finish the objective so I could leave, which resulted in me being obliterated by demons.
BTW there is a way to use Quasimorphosis for profit (not much fun sadly)
Works on multilevel missins (no point doing it on defense)
1.Clean totally first floor, and I mean TOTALLY, you must be last man standing.
2.Locate elevator
3.Raise Q-level to max. There are various ways, but cannibalism is usually the fastest and most convenient (especially if you cook meat prior- use those fuel barrels for good). If all fails you can just wait and burn calories.
4.Once Baron appears, travel to new level and spend a turn or two there (to ensure all humans die and get replaced by qmorphs), then come back
5.Kill the Baron and reset Q-level.
6.Go to next level you briefly visited before. In couple turns qmorphs will despawn.
7.Congratulations now level is filled with loot and corpses. You may rarely run into some rare enemies (in my testing I encountered one robot and elemination target)
8.If there are more levels you may repeat the process of raising Q-level, visiting next level, returning and killing Baron to reset. It will neatly clean up levels and keep Q-level under your control.
9.Level cleanup is a bit boring though (besides the first level)
As an example, the Jeffhammer shotgun requires wiring, which can be a bit of a hassle to come across, but cyborgs drop those fairly often. It's also useful for finding decent chunks of glass, computer chips, and armor plating.
So in the green section, there is a SUBSCRIBE button at the bottom. Do we know what that does? I tried clicking it and it doesn't seem like it did anything.
