A Guide on how to create a Terraria Guide

This is a step-by-step guide on how to make guides for Terraria. I'm making this because when I first created a guide, I had to figure it out by my self. I hope you find this helpful

Why I'm creating this

I'm creating this because I feel like people need to know how to make steam guides. There were no guides on how to create guides when I made my first one, so I guess I might be the first to do it (probably not though)

Side Note: This took me two and a half hours to wright but that's a lot of time for me.

The starting steps

These are the first steps on how to create a guide for Terraria. To create a new guide, go to the guide tab and scroll down a bit. There you'll find an option to create a new guide under the words "your guides" and "guides you've made". Click on it and you'll come to a screen titled "editing your guide". There, you'll find a box that says "enter title for your guide". Enter the name of the subject you want to make a guide about and make it appropriate for ALL ages. For example, my guide will be "How to get the Zenith". Now to move on to the next steps.

Sections and descriptions

These are the next steps on how to make a Terraria guide. Now, since you've named the guide(ex: how to get the zenith), you're ready to make a description. scroll down on the page you're on and you'll find a box titled description and an option to add an image and add the image you want. Next go down to the description and type what your guide might be about. Next, scroll to the bottom of the page and you'll see a list of things that could describe your pack. For example, how to get the zenith would be a walkthrough and in English(also hit the button that tells people it's your pack). Now scroll up to the top and hit the tab that says "guide contents". You'll find an option that says create a section and hit it. Then, title the section and tell specific things about your subject(for my example, how to get the zenith, i might say it will be grindy and tedious). You might want to also include pictures with that images box next to the typing box.

The finishing touches

These are the finishing touches for your new and probably awesome guide! After you finished with your first section, maybe add a couple more telling about you subject. Now, check over all of your sections and your description to see if you might want to add more or fix/change something. After that's done, add a final short section that raps all of that together and maybe even say bye to someone who is reading it. Now, go to the "preview guide" tab and hit that publish button. The final step is to just look at the wonderful guide you've made.
