This guide is still formidable.
It sadly misses Mk VI of the Ripper Gun. But that's a minor detail.

Oh goody, can't wait to see what you make of the new power maul.

@JJGRINCH right now bully club mk3 is the all around best option, but slab shield is absolutely viable and I use it all the time

Is now the slab shield viable or are better options in the last update?

@KingKaramel I run the heaviest dmg variant with blaze away and can opener on this build. It still performs the stagger role, but also lets you apply full brittleness in 1 bayonet stab and can fire braced for a long time with good effect to lock down a group of gunners or w/e.

@KingKaramel it wasn't specified mostly because the way it is used in the built is not as a damage dealer or even specialist removal, but as on demand ranged stagger stick - and any Ripper can do that; Idea is simple; You see a nasty special/specials / mob of elites you don't have time to handle /rigth now/, just swap to Ripper, pack a shot or two into them, and they should be nicely staggered to buy you some time to reorient.

I would recommend Mk5 as the most 'versatile' and universal of the bunch with good magdump into mobs up close and solid special hunting. Flak/Maniac, Blaze Away/Inspiring Barrage.

On J_Sat's Meleegryn, assuming it's still up to date, does the MK of the Ripper matter in that build? Or any blessings and perks in particular on the sidearm? I can look further up in the guide to see what each ripper is good at, generally, but this build just says... Well. Ripper. And doesn't elaborate.
Which... it's a havoc 40 build from a good player, I know it works, at least. Just not exactly sure which one is supposed to be paired in here.

Been a Basher-Kickback ogryn through my journey in havoc so far and I'm trying to branch out for some variety, This part to me just seems a bit sparse to parse, is all.

Also maybe the Arbitrator stagger aura is involved.

With this new update there's all this talk that they made the game easier, but has anyone noticed that the Ripper (Mk 5 specifically) is performing better? I'm hitting breakpoints I wasn't prior, on the same builds/gear. Did they stealth buff it, did HP values change, did Fatshark accidentally buff all pellet weapons with something in the code? Just wondering what others have found or noticed.
