Hello and Thank you!
Hello! Thank you for checking out my guide!
I'd just like to say before you read this guide that this is my first one and I am completely new to this. So if I do something in a weird or abstract way i would greatly appreciate a comment with some constructive criticism about how i can improve my layout. Thank you!
Combat Tips - QTE Perfection
This first section is just going to briefly outline some things that are key to mastering the combat in the game.

The first thing i'll bring up is the general misconception of how Combat QTE's work. Something that I see all the time on the discussions page is people being confused or flat out not understanding the basics of how the QTE system works in the game. So here is how to master it!

The way most people see the QTE is pressing the button when its within the blue circle shown here

A lot of people interpret this as when you are meant to press the button but you aren't.

The correct time to press the action button is to press it once the surrounding blue circle has entered the it and is glowing a darker blue shown here.

Correctly understanding this at first can be difficult but once you but understand the timing through gameplay it becomes significantly easier to do. (If you have more tips about this please share them in the comments)
Combat Tips - Taking Advantage of Area of Effect Attacks/Skills
This next part is something that game doesn't delve into much but a lot of skills in the game can be used in different ways to GREATLY increase overall damage and making the most of each turn your characters get.

A lot of skills in the game are intended for players to use them as skills that attack large groups and areas of enemies and a few of these are unlocked fairly early on. Some attacks like Ichiban's Mega Swing and Adachi's Reckless Charge are good examples but there are also some attacks like Nanba's Pyro Belch that can be used effectively to wipe out large or even ENTIRE groups of enemies in 1-3 turns.

Here are three videos ive made showcasing the strength of each of the characters own AoE skills and how ive successfully used them in battles to more effectively defeat my opponenets.

Kasuga Ichiban - Mega Swing Skill

Yu Nanba - Pyro Belch (Note: there is portion of the video near the end with a spoiler warning)

Koichi Adachi - Reckless Charge
Earning Yen - Restaurant Row Farm
Towards the end of Chapter 4 players will be tasked with getting some money to buy at least 1 piece of armour and an accessory for one character to continue with the story. This is a mandatory Requirement and players will probably need to grind to get some quick money to buy these items and enemies in the local vicinity only drop around 450-690 yen and around 50 Level/Job Experience points. So to make this quicker and easier I would recommend travelling North on the map back towards where Restaurant Row.

Restaurant Row is an area in the game that is close towards the Sunlight Castle area, and you probably passed it whilst going there. It is one of the last streets on the east side of the map and you cannot really miss It. The area can have some tough enemies, but it's got lower levels than Koreatown and gives more Yen than Koreatown too. Here are some results and a picture of the area for Restaurant Row.

Restaurant Row Results 2

Restaurant Row Results 3

These are the first three battle I did in Restaurant Row so avg. currency is somewhere around 1,300 - 1,450

The circle tip was very helpful! Glad I clicked this guide because I didn't know and was wondering why it wouldn't work sometimes. Thanks!
