Tools Needed
The only two tools you'll need for this guide are:
  1. 7-Zip (WinRAR unfortunately doesn't work)
  2. Notepad++ (Notepad causes the game to break)
Video Walkthrough (No Commentary)
Step 1 - Using 7-Zip to Extract LtF3NAPE.swf
For context, LtF3NAPE.swf contains all of the game's data including a SHA256 hash (which is just a string of letters and numbers) that we'll need to replace. To do this, we'll need to extract LtF3NAPE.swf using 7-Zip.

The file is in the game's main directory which can be accessed by right-clicking Learn to Fly 3 on Steam and going to Properties -> Installed Files -> Browse. From there, find LtF3NAPE.swf and right-click it (shift + right-click if you're on Windows 11) then go to 7-Zip -> Extract Here. If done correctly a new file should appear in the game directory named LtF3NAPE~.swf
Step 2 - Using Notepad++ to Replace the Hash
With the new file in the game directory, right click the file then click "Edit with Notepad++"

Next, go to Search -> Replace and copy and paste the two strings into "Find what" and "Replace with" respectively then click "Replace all."

If done correctly, you should see the message "Replace All: 1 occurrence was replaced in the entire file" on the bottom of the replace window. Now, go to File -> Save As and save the file as "LtF3NAPE.swf", making sure to click yes on the warning that pops up.

Step 3 - Profit???
If everything you've done up to this point was correct, you should now be able to enable debug mode! Simply launch the game using steam and type "debugmode" while on the main menu (if you make a typo then press backspace then type the word again). A popup should appear stating that debug mode has been enabled.

Once enabled, go into a game and press F2 while you're in the shop, the debug menu should appear.
