The Blue Division (Spanish: La División Azul, German: Blaue Division) or the 250th Spanish Volunteer Division - a military formation from World War II, composed of Spanish Francoists who fought alongside the German Army on the Eastern Front against the Red Army from July 20 1941 to October 20, 1943. The official Spanish name of the formation was Division Española de Voluntarios (Spanish Volunteer Division), in German 250 Infanterie Division (spanische) (250th Infantry Division (Spanish))
