Preface
Katana ZERO's OST, for whatever reason, is ordered very randomly. It opens with a song you hear halfway through the game, then goes to the level 2 theme, then level 1, with the main menu theme halfway down the playlist, and having other such anomalies like Prison Air 1 playing before Prison Air 2, which is then followed by Hit the floor, which is the level before the prison. Strangely enough, some placements do make some sense, like a bonus track at the very end of the playlist, or most of the heavier level themes being placed in the first half while mostly miscellaneous tracks populate the latter. Perhaps it's grouped by composer, perhaps it's simply a strange choice from whoever arranged the album's playlist, but I find a natural placement of the tracks based on their order of appearance in-game to be much more natural, hence the creation of this guide. You can order the files yourself by putting an incrementing number in the file name (01 - Rain on Brick, 02 - Silhouette, etc.) if you listen to the OST on your phone like I do, but there isn't a way I know of to rearrange the tracks in the steam player. Without further ado, here's the track list:

Conclusion
Did I get the order wrong? Do you appreciate now being able to hear the soundtrack in an intuitive order that lets you experience the story again? Can you shed some world-changing, mind-blowing insight into the wisdom behind the original track order that makes this guide cringe and unnecessary? Do you actually know a way to change the track order in steam's player? Leave a comment. I'd love to hear from you!
