Can I remove Preinstalled Modules?
Not yet the current ships are not setup to allow for deconstruction. Hopefully in a future update.

You can but it is not recommend. You should join the discord and post in the LFG to find a group to play with.

Can I use the Frigate with 4 players?
You can but it might break your team. There is a bug where players spawn inside each other and bricks the lobby. Being worked on.

tbh, about the pre-loadout modules i think it's a good idea the devs don't implement the ability to remove them, or at very least make it a team vote with majority approval requirement, because it would grant some players the ability to grieve in the game by unistalling the modules and might even recycle those modules, effectively ruining the run from the get go
