Activating debug mode
To activate the debug mode, go into options.
At the left lower corner is a "PI"-Symbol.
Ctrl+ALT+Leftclick on it to activate it.
What is the debug mode?
The debug mode in original is for testing purposes of the programmer.

With the debug mode you can change many things in the game, some are following:
  • Get or kill survivors
  • add or remove perks to survivors
  • add or remove food or ressources
  • get equipment
  • make them happy
  • add buildings
  • and many other

With this powerful "tool" you can cheat "perfect" survivors, godlike survivors or change the map.
The most important are described below in their own section.
Get / Lose Food / Nonfood
with this action you gan give or add 50 of food or 50 resources + each of 2 special resources)
(Bath salt and antidoty were only give, if already activated or exiswtend in inventory!)
Get Colin / Colinsss / Kill Colin
You get one ore many random survivors or can kill one random survivor.
Grow / Shrink Factions / Grow Fort
This will give or remove buildings to other factions on the map. Number and position are nearly random but often they spread in radius of 1 field.

Gro Fort add some buildings to your faction.
Get Happy / Get Skills
Get Skills give one Skill level of each skill to each survivor.
Click 10 times and all have maximum skills without perks.

Get Happy give many survivors happiness, but not all. To improve it fortwide with many survivors, you need to click many times.
Show all / All Scouted
Show all exposes the entire map with no rounded shadows at the borders, including the border tiles, you normally dont see.

All Scouted let you instant scout the map (with normal borders).

With both you start interacting with the other factions.
Make Square (BUILDING IDs)
Make square adds at a random border position a building with the "string" ID.

You can just load the clipboard xml into the game with the debug function for it. No need to manually make a savegame file.

if you want to "replace" a building or place to a special location, you need to use the save to xml option, a bit more difficult, you need an external text editor (notepad++ i use). then search for the building, you want to change (ID search) and change the id number of that building. and than marking all anc "copy" (ctrl+c) and load xml. save game under new name, start game new and load and look, irf it worked...

Some information is still missing (som,e ids etc).
Also the complete "event"-ID list is missing. Im still sotring the events and try to make a (very) short description. Normal souqrces didnt give any description, what the event do.
