Lore

The setting is the 1980's; Horror movies were in their prime, DnD was still ''satanic'' and outcasts were still viewed as such by their peers. Miranda was one of these outcasts. Miranda was viewed by her peers at ''Mondrian High'' as a weirdo, a monster , some even called her a devil worshipper. However, in reality she was nothing more but a little different from others. Not even in her way of thinking, not even in morality, the girl had a good heart and a light attitude towards life contrary to her dark and moody outfits. No, she was simply viewed as different because she appeared to be and as such that is what she had became to others.

She'd spent her time at school quietly sitting in the corner of class, half paying attention and half doodling away in her diary, her closest friend. Miranda had other friends, mind you, other outcasts; nerds, goths and weirder older boys who sold substances behind closed doors after class was over.

Miranda had a huge crush, as had any other girl at school, on Brady, the school's leading quarterback. Though, seeing her own stance within the school's hiarchy she had figured she never stood a chance. Her friends had urged her on; saying things like ''No, you're cute'' and ''I'm sure he will like you, just ask him out!'' and as such that is what she finally did, a few nights before the school's prom. To her surprise Brady had answered postively, had affirmed that he would go with her to prom. She couldn't believe it, she couldn't believe that someone as popular as Brady would give her a chance.. she shouldn't have believed it.

The night of the prom soon arrived and she went with Brady. His friends hadn't thought anything of it, Brady was popular and could get any girl at the school. To him Miranda was merely another conquest, a night of quick fun to immediately forget when the sun came up. He had used her that night. After the prom, back at Miranda's home. She had felt love, he had felt lust.

The next day he was gone. She was alone once again. She felt betrayed, she was betrayed. Betrayed by Brady? Perhaps. More likely betrayed by her own hope. He had never shown romantic interest in her, he had never lied about his intentions, she had simply never asked. She didn't want to know but now she found out.

She grew obsessed with him. Her diary's doodles turned from bats and dragons to sketches of his face, usually handsome but often deformed, at times even mauled. She began stalking him, learning about his life, his friends, his real realtionships, the one he actually felt love for. She would never do anything however, she was merely an observer and as such she will keep observing.

Three months later the news came in, Miranda was pregnant. It was only one person who could have been the father and she knew exactly who it was. She felt the need to tell him. Both in fairness and because of hope, hope he would come back to her if he knew.

A hand struck across her face, a fist landed squarely in her stomach, ending any and all hope of ever becoming a mother to Brady's child. Brady stood over her, watching her as she fell to her knees with a look of utter terror in her eyes. She saw the same look of terror staring down at her from the would-be father. She could feel the blood dripping down her thighs, staining her dress. She felt sick, and angry. ''How could you..'' was all she could manage before the barrage of fists continued. Soon she'd find herself laying in a pool of her own blood in the school's bathroom, looking at her own battered reflection through it.

It is then she had heard a whisper. A deep whisper that shook her to her core but made her feel loved like never before. It promised her affection, all she had to do was draw her next obsession.
Power and Gameplay

Power
Miranda's Power is called ''Remembrance of Obsession'' it allows her to sketch a survivor's face from a distance as long as they don't notice her. If Miranda finishes sketching a survivor's face, said survivor will hear a giggle and a small icon of a book will appear in the top right corner of the screen. After 10 more seconds ''Remembrance of Obsession'' will become active. One time, any time at all, The Obsessed will be able to teleport to the survivor she has sketched, allowing for one free hit. After this is done she will rip out the page with the survivor's sketch on it and will have to start over. If she is sketching someone and is noticed halfway through she will be able to sketch them again later on, though only one survivor at a time. Meaning; if you sketch a Feng Min, get noticed and then sketch an Ace, the new sketch will overwrite the previous and you lose all progress on said sketch. The Obsessed can only hold one sketch with her at any given time, be it finished or not. Survivors can do nothing to get rid of the sketch once it has been drawn but will have (at least) 10 seconds to make sure they are not surrounded by other survivors. If The Obsessed does not use her power within 30 seconds of aquiring the full sketch, it will disappear.

weapon
Miranda fights with a sharp looking fountain pen, the same one she uses to sketch in her diary with. The range on the weapon will be short but she will have a relatively far lunge on account of her being light and young.

appearance
Her appearance would reflect the fact that she has been beat within an inch of her life. Her skin would be pale and cracked and her black dress would be torn and bloody. The fingers holding her diary would be half broken off as well. Black makeup would run down her face and her face itself would be mostly hidden by her messy, bloody clotted hair. Blood would run down her thighs and her stomach would have a slight bump to it. When playing as her she would limp, in the same way as Hillbilly.
Map

Mondrian High
The Obsessed's map would take place on Mondrian High, the high school that she was from. It would take place on prom night as that is the night that all of the bad things in her life began to take shape. The entire map would be indoors and would be mostly made out of long hallways with lockers and classrooms with a large prom themed auditorium in the middle of it. The school, unlike the Silent Hill map, would still be in a relatively good state and would mostly use yellow-ish colors. Stickers that would reference things from the 80's would be lining some of the lockers to set the tone of the setting some more. These could be parodies of real things or simply the 80's horror movies that are already in this game. The map would only have one floor. Classrooms would each have two to three entrance with one of them being closed until the generator within the classroom has been fixed.
Hope you enjoyed my killer concept.

I think the character design is really good! I imagine the ability may need to be tweaked a little bit, but I certainly like the concept.Perhaps the location would be changed to give it its own identity as well, to separate it from the Silent Hill map. Perhaps the ability to see the school entrance, different hallway layouts, etc.

Fun concept overall! I wouldn't be displeased if something like this was added.

Hey, welcome to the fan concept community! :D
For your first ever this is quite well made, I appreciate the structure. So many are loose jumbles of text with no coherence. Well done on being above the rest.

I like the lore, with dbd technically characters are all 21, but that didn't stop them from making the legion, so no issue there.

I do think, however, that her power needs something more. What you have now (to put it bluntly) is a stealth-less Ghostface, but instead of the exposed status, you get a 'guaranteed' hit- though I suspect if the surv made it to a pallet in 10 seconds the hit wouldn't necessarily be guaranteed.

Sticking to her lore, the fear of being stalked should be the primary theme the survivors face. Try to draw upon what makes that scary irl. Your stalker could be anywhere, you never know if you're being watched, nor what they're capable of.
Sadly, Ghostface and Myers already use stealth to achieve this uncanny feeling. We need to add something different.

At first, the killer should be unassuming. You catch a glimpse of her stalking you, but upon rounding the corner- she's gone. The survivors wonder if they even saw her.

Add an ability to 'de-manifest' after breaking line of sight with a survivor. If you've ever played LFD2 versus, it should be akin to spawning in as a zed. In this stage, there would be a large minimum distance requirement on 're-manifesting' to stop you from spawning too close and getting free hits.

As you stalk your victims, you learn more and more about their habits and routines. Once they've been stalked for a while, they should be wary that you could appear at any moment, heightening their anxiety.

As you stalk each survivor, the radius of the spawn restriction area surrounding them shrinks. When near fully stalked, spawning just around the corner for a free hit becomes easy. Once fully stalked, you can spawn directly behind them, the same as you had originally- no LOS blocker needed.
