"Almost ten years ago I made this Fantasy Ship candy box.
I didn't have a light tent back then so the photo isn't the best, and I'm too lazy so far to take a new pic.

This candy box is almost 100% made from paper. I used thin paperboard, crepe paper, Dresden (the arty paper trim) and some antique opalescent paper I found for the sail. The only things not paper are the ship's mast and wheel (wood), some glitter, glue, and little staples from an Italian Zenith papercraft stapler. (neat thing, lets you staple right up to the edge of creases!)

This is actually a candy box. Lift the mast and the deck hinges backward to let you put gift candies in the hold!

(Yeah, I was on a papercraft kick for a while. Like everything else.)"

Dresden, in case ppl haven't figured it out, is embossed paper.

Oh. And also there's a small amount of paint (on the mast, portholes)

Correction: The ship's wheel is Dresden (paper). The little post it's attached to is wood.
