The Beginning
So, since my guide on generic enemies did pretty well i've decided to try my hand at the bosses, this time i will try to be more accurate with health numbers since those are more easily accessible since the last time i made a guide on this game.

I should note that the health numbers given are from the Terror And Starvation difficulty, if you're playing on Fear and Hunger then these enemies might have lower health.

I will also be giving the enemies Evasion Rate whenever possible, this is how likely they are to dodge a physical (abbreviated Phy) and Magical (abbreviated Mag) attack.

and i'll write [!!!!] next to items, souls or whatever things i think are particularly useful which you can obtain from these bosses and unique encounters.

As with last time i will also give you a little warning that a lot of this game boils down to trial and error and figuring out how to fight bosses and enemies is pretty much a puzzle, once the puzzle is figured out a lot of the difficulty and fun is removed so i reccomend trying out the fights yourself with no prior knowledge and to use this guide as a last resort or if you just dont feel like learning it yourself which is fair.

With all of that outta the way, here's all the bosses and unique encounters in Fear & Hunger 1.
Iron Shakespeare
Health - Head (500) - Torso (800) - Both Arms (1300) - Both Legs (150)
Evasion Rate - Head (55% Phy, 40% Mag) - Everything else (5% Phy, no Mag)

The Iron Shakespeare is a highly damaging boss who deals around 28-42 damage with both of his arms, so around 56-84 damage a turn, this becomes worse as he uses [Ignite] at the end of the first turn and he uses it again at the end of the second which ups his damage to 40-60 with each attack so 80-120 a turn (ow).

His non ignited attacks will cause [Fracture] which lowers your max health permanently by 4 per each stack, he will no longer do this when his arms are ignited and instead it will proc [Burning] which deals damage over time at a 60% chance of it being applied to you.

What im trying to say is that you should never fight this boss at the start of the game for he will more than likely destroy you with no chance of you winning whatsoever but later on once you have a party its incredibly easy to burst down his torso in F&H thanks to it only having 575 HP.

Things get more complicated in T&S as his health is increased past 1000 but thankfully with better gear its still fairly easy to kill him with items like [Purified Eastern Sword], [Cursed Blue Sin], [Miasma], etc.
I also reccomend getting the [Gaunt Plate Armor] as it will reduce his damage down exponentially

If youre in hard mode and trying to get the Ragnavaldr S ending then i reccomend [Cursed Blue sin], [Gaunt Plate Armor], [Gaunt Bascinet], [Eagle Crest Shield], [Charm of Yggaegetsu] and just hit him a bit until he dies, you should have enough damage resistance and magic resistance to survive him.

Black Witch
Health - Head (20) - Torso (1000) - Both Arms (400)
Evasion Rate - Head (55% Phy, 40% Mag) - Everything else (5% Phy, no Mag)

The Black Witch is yet another enemy you will likely encounter early in your playthrough but even if you can kill her you really shouldnt, this is due to the items she gives you which i will explain further down below.

She can be encountered early in the level 2 Basement or in the Grand Library in present day Ma'Habre, either way she will have the same attacks and health.

Her attacks are a simple [Ritual Knife] which will [Poison] you dealing damage over time and like 20-30 flat damage and [Black orb] which will deal around 30 damage a hit, it hits 3 times so you will die with no resistances.

It is incredibly easy to kill the Black Witch, all you have to do is cut off her left arm, the open arm with no weapon, and then just hit her until she dies, another option is to use leg sweep which will cut off both of her arms, no i dont know why it does but its useful!

If you have the ability [Marksmanship] you can shoot her in the overworld and one shot her without even fighting her.

Now, the reason why you wanna fight her is for her [Soul] and very conveniently she also has a chance to give you a [Soul Stone] if you [Steal] from her.

The [Black Witch Soul] poisons your weapon and poison deals a lot of damage over time, if you give this to the Girl you can make her far more useful in melee combat and even just giving it to yourself is great, the problem is that if you kill her in the Level 2 Basement you cannot search her body so you can't get the soul early and her body will disappear from the game.

For some reason she sometimes doesn't spawn her body when you kill her in Ma'Habre so i reccomend making a save before fighting her.

Trortur
Health - Torso 175 - Everything else (20)
Evasion Rate -Head (50 Phy, 40% Mag) - Everything else (5% phy, no mag)

This guy is a joke, he can only attack with his knife hand and it does low damage, to kill him just cut his hand, hit him twice in the torso and he will be dead in every difficulty.

Now, if you want you can befriend this man, to do so you need to meet Buckman, he is in a cell close to Trortur, if you do you can [Talk] with Trortur, rat out Buckman and Trortur will, well, torture him and kill him, later on in the [Present Ma'Habre] you will see Jeanne who is being carried by a Lord of the Flies, save her, take her to Trortur and you will max out his social link and he will give you the [Vault key] which will allow you to get the [Penance armor], this is the best set of armor in the game.

If you dont want to murder two innocent people then just use [Steal] and get the [Vault key] that way.

Another thing you can do with Trortur is that since he is passive once his knife arm is cut off you can use him ass a permanent source of health and mind if you equip the [Sorcerers Stone] for 10 mind a turn and the [Ring of Wraiths] for 8 health a turn, just spam defend and you will be healed up in no time, you can also farm the [Pinecone Pig] on him.

Human Hydra

From one joke to the next, the Human Hydra is a... boss? that is completely optional and can be encountered in the Level 1 Inner Hall, they have no attacks and all they will do is say ♥♥♥♥ and beg you to not kill them, killing them yields no reward.

You can offer them the Girl or the Demon Kid to eat which will yield no reward whatsoever.

there is no item that can be stolen, no soul nor any item they drop, they are absolutely useless in every regard whatsoever outside of one thing, that trick is mentioned with Trortur with the [Ring of Wraiths], [Sorcerers Stone] or [Pinecone Pig] can be used on these guys too but even then theyre not as good as Trortur because they constantly talk every turn until the fifth turn making it slower.

Butterfly

Evasion Rate - Head (55% Phy, 40% Mag) - Everything Else (5%)

This guy has no attacks whatsoever and just begs you to not kill him, you will find him the [Backyard]

Only thing of note is that if you have [Mastery Over Insects] and talk with the Cockroach king, you will be given a task to kill him which will raise your affinity with the god of the depths allowing you learn their skills with the Hexen, you kinda need to use an [Empty Scroll] to learn [Mastery Over Insects] anyway so... i dont know why you wouldnt just learn [Locust Swarm] and be done with it but whatever.

If you destroy the Organ inside Hidden Temple and come back to the [Backyard] you will find that the Butterfly will have actually become a butterfly and he will leave behind the [Butterfly Soul], this does nothing because its bugged.

Oh yeah you can do the Trortur trick too.

Ser Seymor
Health - Head (200) - Torso (1200) - Claymore (700) - Both Legs (20)
Evasion Rate - Head (55% phy, 40% mag) - Everything else (5%)

Well, Ser Seymor is a bit of a hard fight if you decide to fight him in the early game, he has a [Horizontal Sweep] which will deal damage to your entire party with a chance of limb loss and infection, he will also use [Vertical Sweep] which will deal heavy damage and will also cut off one of your limbs.

Best bet is to have a party, target the claymore arms, deal 700 damage and then just punch him until he dies, another option is to cut off his legs and target the head for a one shot.

Now, the reason why you might want to kill him is for his [Claymore] which is an amazing early game weapon and because you can steal a [Scroll of the Long Sword] which will teach you [Leg Sweep] a skill that will one shot any door and will also one shot the legs of any enemy.

If you're solo then i would say to not fight him but if you wanna, use the [Salmonsnake Soul] to prevent limb loss, use a [Throwing Dart] to poison him, dont confuse it with a [Throwing Knife] and just guard until he dies.

Also, for some reason you can use [Engarde] in conversations which will cause you to get a free turn, doesnt work against everyone but it works for Seymor and Isayah.

Cavemother
Health - Head (20) [only in phase 2] -Torso (725) [625 phase 2] - Both Wings (270) - Breasts (200) - Both Legs (20)
Evasion Rate - Head (80% phy, 40% mag) - Everything Else (5%)

The Cavemother is a bit of an annoying fight and one I would very much reccomend to skip as all you get for your troubles is the [Cavemother Soul] and one [Soul Gem] but if you feel like fighting her or you are trying to get Ragnvaldr's S ending then here's how to do it.

The Cavemother has one attack that is technically 3, [One Tooth Bite] will either cut off an arm (25% chance), cut off a leg (25% chance) or only cause Bleed and Infection, she also has a 25% chance to do nothing.

If her breasts are still there then she will summon a Cave Gnome at the end of the first turn and then every two turns after that (so turn 3, 5, 7, etc) there can only be a max of 2 Cave Gnomes at all times.

There are two ways to defeat her, cut off her wings or damage the torso, cutting off the wings will cause her to die at the end of the turn but damaging the torso will kill her instantly, you can also make her weaker by burning her which will cause her to take 50% more damage from all sources.

If you're solo then i reccomend using the [Salmonsnake Soul] to prevent limb loss and if you dont have it then use [Charm of Yggetestu] for the added crit chance for a higher chance to one shot her in the torso, you should of course have a high damaging weapon like [Purified Eastern Sword], [Blue Sin], [Miasma], etc.

If you have a party... well, its complicated but i will save the annoying bug for the end so lets say you have 2 characters, i reccomend using [Pheromones] (forces the enemy to attack that party member] and using [Guard] with them as Guard prevents limb loss so your party can deal damage to her without having to worry about limb loss.

Anyway once you kill her you will have to deal with phase 2 of the fight.

Phase 2 is just more of the same, same attacks, same Cave Gnome mechanics and overall easier since she has mildly lower health so instead i will use this to explain a very annoying bug with this fight

Every enemy in F&H has their turn go after your own for the sake of balance except for this one, for some reason if you have a party of 3 she will attack first and if you have a party of 4 then the rightmost party member will attack first and then she will attack, why? im not sure tbh but i dont reccomend fighting her with a party bigger than 2 because it makes the fight very incosistent.

Old Knight
Health - Everything (20 in F&H, 300 in T&S) - Loincloth (20 in T&S)
Evasion Rate - Everything (5%)

This guy can either be a joke or a pain depending on the difficulty so lets talk about his attacks.

He can use [Vertical Sweep] which deals heavy damage and has a 100% chance to cut off an arm of a leg and he can also use [Horizontal Sweep] which hits the entire party and has a 20% chance to cut off an arm.

Both of these attacks come from his [Right Arm] so you should cut that one immediatly but the problems start at the end of the second turn for he will spawn the [Knight Spectre] which is a copy of the same boss but is unkillable.

Thankfully in F&H difficulty since his health is so low you can just throw a [Murky Vial] or [Explosive Vial] and one shot him on turn 1... but if youre in T&S or Hard mode... well, things get much more complicated.

Oddly enough beating him by yourself is pretty easy, just get the [Gaunt Armor], [Salmonsnake Soul] and a good weapon and just auto attack until he dies, if you get low just use a [light blue Vial].

If you're with a team, well, prepare for limb loss because you will probably lose a couple limbs due to [Horizontal Sweep] but if you have high damage weapons you can kill him in just a couple of turns, you can also spam [Murky Vial] which deals around 90-100ish damage and kill him that way.

Another strategy is to cut off a body part and run in the second turn so you can always cut off a body part safely, problem is that run isnt the most consistent and you put yourself at the mercy of RNG, also, [Escape Plan] is bugged in this fight and it makes it impossible to run away for some reason.

Salmonsnake
Health - Head (1200) - Eye (150) - Tongue (500) - Torso (1250)- Both Arms (800)
Evasion Rate - Eye (40% phy, 40% mag) - Everything Else (5% phy, no mag)

The Salmonsnake is a pretty easy boss, especially if you have good gear, here's its attacks.

Its arms will use [Smash] with a 50% chance for each arm, this attack deals a decent amount of damage but more importantly can cause [Confusion] and stun you for 2 turns, its head will also use [Headbutt] every turn which is just raw damage and nothing more and last but not least its tongue leaves its mouth at the end of the turn and fully exits at the end of the second turn, on the third turn it will use a coin flip attack which will one shot you, you can use [Guard] to avoid it or just hit the tongue which will cause it to retract fully.

TBH there isnt a best strategy for fighting it, if you have [Purified Eastern Sword] or whatever you can just hit it in the head until it dies but if you dont then you can use [Throwing Darts] or any other method of poison on the Body and it will kill it in 3 turns, all you have to do is [Guard].

Another strategy is to destroy the Eye which will cause the [Smash] attacks to only come out 25% of the time instead of 50% and then focus on the head until he dies.

Yet another thing you can do is that if you killed the [Cave Mother] you can use the [Cave Gnome Egg]s she drops, just use [Talk] and pick [Offer Gnome Egg] which will cause the Salmonsnake to be busy eating for two turns, you can have up to 6 cave gnome eggs so just use them on the 1st, 4th, 7th, etc. for some reason using it every 2 turns doesnt work.

Overall, as long as you have decent equipment or some dots its an easy boss.

Assassin Spectre
Health - Body 1000
Evasion Rate - Body (5% phy, no mag)

For a guy who is guarding one of the best weapons in the game he sure is a wimp.

He only has two attacks, one is a double attack that deals good damage and the other is [Horizontal Sweep] which hits the entire party and has a chance of cutting off limbs, since he is a Ghost you cannot harm him with any normal weapons and he can only be killed by spells and cursed weapons.

...And that is why he's a bit of a joke, he is guarding the [Eastern Sword] and attacks you when you grab it, the Eastern Sword is a cursed weapon with a ridiculously high crit chance that can deal way above 1000 damage.

The strategy is simple, pick up the sword, run, equip the sword, hit him once, kill him.

If you dont get a crit you will still deal like 300-400 damage so even in the worst case scenario as long as you have the [Salmonsnake Soul] and some blue vials there is nothing to worry about.

Oh yeah once you kill him your [Eastern Sword] turns into a [Purified Eastern Sword] which is basically just a better version.

NOTE: he does not follow you like a normal mob, if you run from him he has set points in the map in which he attacks you in, its hard to explain but basically theres a bunch of invisible lines in every map that if you cross them he will immediatly attack you for as long as you havent killed him.

Evasion Rate - Head (55 phy, 40 mag) - Both Arms (85% phy, no mag) - Everything Else (5%)

Isayah is a curious fellow, he is a non hostile npc who will sell you some Maps (theyre amazing, go get them) for 50 silver coins and is also in possession of the [Iron Mask] which is a pretty nifty item, he only spawns once the [Crow Mauler] starts chasing you.

Anyway if you want to kill him here's how, he does nothing on the first turn and on the second he reveals a [Hidden Blade] which is main method of killing you, he does a double attack and his left hand wil use [Plague Touch] which is a coin flip attack that does... nothing, it doesnt deal damage, it doesnt give you a status effect tit just does literally nothing, anywho, after using it succesfully he just punches you for low damage.

So, killing him is very easy, all you gotta do is attack his legs which will cause his head to be easier to hit and then hit him once in the head, if you have party members this is comically easy, if youre solo this is still stupidly easy, Isayah is a joke and you should not worry about him too much.

Health - Head (900) - Torso (1750) - Both Arms (700) - Both Legs (200)
Evasion Rate - Head (85 phy, 50 mag) - Everything Else (5%)

Im sure you were waiting for this guy to show up, I wont lie to you, he's one of the thoughest enemies in the early to mid game and i do not reccomend fighting him unless you know you are prepared.

The Crow Mauler has 3 attacks he can use, his head has a 1/3 chance of using [Crow Mauler is staring at you with empty eyes...] which does nothing, a 1/3 chance of using [Peck] which is an instant kill move with no coin flip and a 1/3 chance of using [Flock of Crows] which does low damage and cause cause [Blindness] which renders the game pretty much unplayable and his Left Arm will use [Maul] every turn which deals heavy damage and can cause [Fracture] which is a permanent debuff to your health and [Infection] which is just annoying.

Killing the Crow Mauler is all about preparation, equip the [Iron Mask] if you have it which will prevent [Blindness], use a [Red Vial] on his Head to blind him which will prevent him from one shotting you with [Peck] and then use a dot like [Poison], [Burn] or [Bleed] on the Torso which will cause him to die in 3 turns.

If you have great weapons like the [Purified Eastern Sword], [Blue Sin] and a full party you can probably kill him on turn 1 by just spamming the Torso though this is less consistent than the first strategy.

It should be noted that he only dies at the end of the turn so even if he has no health he will still get at least 2 attacks off before dying unless the killing blow is a dot.

Evasion Rate - Head (55 phy, 40 mag) - Everything Else (5% phy, no mag)

The Gaunt Knight will probably be the first boss you will encounter in Ma'Habre, he is in the Present Ma'Habre and is a fairly dangerous threat with some amazing rewards if you take him down.

He's a pretty simple enemy, his only moves are Cross Slash which deals heavy damage and a double attack which has a 90% chance to cut off your arm and cause [Bleeding].

The best way to kill him with a party is to cut off his arms and attack the torso until he dies, 450 damage shouldnt be hard to do if you have spells like [Black Orb], [Pyromancy Trick], [Hurting] or good weapons like [Purified Eastern Sword], [Miasma], etc.

If you're solo then i reccomend using the [Salmonsnake Soul] to prevent limb loss and [Bleeding], cut off his limbs and then deal damage to his torso.

If you're trying to get Ragnvaldrs S ending you can just kill him with [Marksmanship] which will one shot him, i highly reccomend doing this because he gives you one of the best armor sets in the game.

I should also mention that you can save the Gaunt Knight, to do so you need to use [Talk] and then use a [Elixir of Mind] and he will stop fighting you, if you also found Jeanne and saved her in the Present Ma'Habre then she will tell you about the Gaunt Knight and if you talk to him about her he will join her and Buckmans party if you saved them too, with that you would have saved 4 people in total from the dungeon and they will reward you with... 50 [Silver Coins] and a [Ring of Wraiths]... which you can also get as a random drop from chests.

Anyway it is far more beneficial to kill the Gaunt knight because you get the Gaunt Armor which is the best sets of armor in the game aside from the [Penance Armor] which is much harder to get.

Evasion Rate - Face Mask (80% phy, 40% mag) - Everything Else (5% phy, no mag)

This is the first important boss we will fight as killing her will lead to talking with the Endless One (Nilvan) and getting her soul which is necessary for progression... kinda.

Anyway she's in the Tower of The Endless in the Past Ma'Habre, in the Present Ma'Habre nothing happens if you sleep in the bed and is just a free save spot

When you start the fight with her she will do nothing on the first turn and then turn into her true form and she is quite dangerous, her arms will use decent damage attacks that can cause [Critical State] this makes it so that your health is reduced to 1 on the next attack, her legs will just kick you for low damage and

She also has a coin flip attack that is telegraphed by [Skin Granny is flexing its fingers...] and if you dont destroy the middle arm which is the one that causes this coin flip attack or guard it she will one shot you if you fail the coin flip.

The strategy is pretty simple, use the first free turn to use [Fast Attack] or other abilities to prepare yourself to do a lot of damage and then destroy her arms with your party and then just spam the torso.

If you're solo then i reccomend using [Salmonsnake Soul] to avoid [Critical State] and use [Fast Attack] for the extra turn if possible, use dots like [Poison] and [Burn] on the torso and destroy the middle arm to avoid the coin flip, destroy the arms and use healing items whenever needed, of course remember to equip the Gaunt Armor or whatever good armor you might have to increase your survivavility.

Once you beat her Nilvan will ask you for a favour and if you say yes you will get her soul and if you say no you will get nothing, there is no downside to saying yes and if you refuse you will be forced to either kill Cahara for the [Endless Soul] or get it with an [Empty Scroll] by typing [O Lord] [Give] [Endless].

So, at the end of turn 2 he will use a coin flip attack that will one shot you if you fail it, you can of course [Guard] it to avoid it and he will use this attack every turn this after this, so on turn 5, 8, 11, etc.

That's all, that's his one attack... so why is he a troublesome? you see, for some reason the harvestman close to the Library, the one who moves around, is bugged and for some reason you can't [Guard] his attack, it will go through your guard and you will be forced to do the coin flip anyway which makes him very dangerous, so how do we avoid dying to him?

Best strategy that works 100% of the time is to get the [Penance Armor] which can be gotten through a fairly obscure side quest, it will make you immune to the harvestmans attack, second option if you dont want to use the penance armor is to just deal 1000 damage on the torso which is actually pretty easy since you have 2 whole turns to deal damage to him.

Overall, just avoid him if possible, oh yeah, if you have the Girl in your party he can kidnap her, she's fine you just have to rescue her in the hallway where he normally patrols.

The Old Guardian can be found on the bridge leading to Ma'Habre in the present if you interacted with him in the Past Ma'Habre, at least i think thats how he spawns im not too sure tbh.

He only has some simple attacks with his fists and legs and the only one of note is his [Axe Kick] which deals pretty good damage, no status effects of any kind in this fight.

His body has a pitiful amount of hp, any party should be able to deal 1250 damage in one turn and i think he has more health in terror and starvation but 2400 is still not that much if you get a couple crits with a party.

Solo i just reccomend equipping the [Black Witch] Soul with a [Cursed Blue Sin] for the double dot which will kill him in one turn.

The Enlightened One (Valteil)
Health - Head (4500) - Both Sides of his Brain (3500) - Third Eye (1500)
Evasion Rate - Everything (5% phy, no mag)

Valteil is a pretty tough boss that can be encountered in the Grand Library and you need to kill him or Enki to gain the [Enlightened Soul] which is necessary for progression depending on the ending.

The Right Brain will use spells such as [Hurting] which deletes one of your limbs and [Black Orb] a multi hitting high damage spell, his Left Brain will just [Headbutt] you for decent damage, his Third Eye which takes 4 turns to fully form will ue [Whispers of Gro'Goroth] which will kill you in 5 turns, so 9 turns in total to kill him.

I reccomend equipping the [Black Witch Soul] for poison and the [Cursed Blue Sin] if possible for burning and apply both on his Head to kill him quickly, on turn 2 just spam the Right Brain to stop the spells as soon as possible, if you have a party then this should take no time at all, if you're solo i reccomend just spamming the head and trying to dps him down.

You can also [Talk] with him to damage him, he will ask multiple questions and if you answer correctly he will take around 500ish damage to all body parts, if you answer incorrectly nothing happens, here are the questions and answers:

The Tormented One (Chambara)
Health - Head (2000) - Torso (750) - Both Arms (500) - 1st Circle (5000) - 2nd Circle (1) - 3rd Circle (1)
Evasion Rate - Head (85% phy, no mag) - 1st Circle (85% phy, no mag) - Everything Else (5% phy, no mag)

Chambara is a pretty tough boss that can be a total pain if you dont know how to beat him but that's why im here so heres his attacks.

On phase 1 he only has two attacks, [Pummel] which hits twice and deals low damage, he will use it with both of his arms so 2 times per turn and if his arms are cut he will use [Chains of Torment] a spell that hits hard and can cut off a limb.

On phase 2 the 1st wheel will always use [Chains of Torment] though he has a 50% chance to do nothing per turn and the other 2 wheels have a 50% chance to use [Revolution Tear] which deal good damage and can cause [Fracture] which debuffs your health permanently and can also cause [Infection].

If you have a party i reccomend equipping the [Black Witch Soul] for poison and [Cursed Blue Sin] if possible for the added [Burning] status effect, use [Pheromones] on your tank which will force the boss to attack them and give them the [Salmonsnake Soul] to avoid limb loss, keep them on [Guard] for the entire fight and use healing items when needed.

If possible use [Fast Attack] for the extra turn and apply [Pheromones] on your tank to force Chambara to attack them, after this attack him and apply all of your dots which will stay on him in the second phase, this will take him straight into the second phase of the fight.

Attack the 2nd and 3rd wheel which will cause both to jam and will make the 1st wheel attackable for 1 turn, spam attacks on the 1st wheel where Chambara is and he will die in no time.

If you're solo... things are a bit trickier but still possible, use [Black Witch Soul] and [Cursed Blue Sin], equip the best armor you can find, use [Fast Attack] if possible and apply both dots on him on phase 1, after this i reccomend just spamming guard until he dies to the dots, the trickiest part is not dying tbh but if you get close just use a [Light Blue Vial] or a [Mix of Red and Blue] and keep spamming guard.

Overall, a very tricky boss if you dont use dots but if you do he's not too bad.

Oh yeah also if you go to where you kill him in the Present Ma'Habre you can find his corpse and interacting with it gives you [Chains of Torment] which is a good spell but costs 80 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mind so its not that usable.

Evasion Rate - Head (85% phy, 50% mag) - Heart (85% phy, 40% mag) - Everything Else (5% phy, no mag)

The White Angel is a boss that can be encountered after killing the Tormented one, Chambara, there are multiple White Angels and they're fairly dangerous but if you kill them you can get one of the best items in the game.

The White Angel has an attack called [Helmbreaker] which will split the character in two if you fail the coin flip, because of this you want to kill this guy as fast as possible.

The best way to kill him is to use a spell such as [Black Orb], [Hurting] or whatver spells you may have that can deal 200 damage to the Heart which will kill him immediatly.

If you dont have mind or spells then you can spam the torso with high damage weapons and the [Black Witch Soul] and [Cursed Blue Sin] if possible and spam his torso until he dies.

Overall more annoying than anything but you shouldnt treat them like a joke.

Francóis is the final challenge before heading into the void to become a New God, the final stepping block in your path to start your trek to get 2 of the games endings and he is... actually quite tough, though he can be a joke if you wanna abuse broken game mechanics.

His sword arm will use [Cutlass] which is a decent damage attack and his other hand will use [Pyromancy Trick] which deals decent damage too, once he goes gold he will spit molten gold out of his mouth and deal good damage he can also... im not sure actually, i only tried the non cheese method once and i cut off his limbs on phase 1 so i didnt see his moves while golden and i also saved over that save file after i killed him like an idiot so i cant go back without beating the entire game again... hmm, well, ill update the guide once i have the time to do that lol

Anyway to beat him in a non cheese way just use [Black Witch Soul], [Cursed Blue Sin] apply dots, [Fast Attack] if possible, apply dots on the torso, cut off his arms and once he goes gold just keep wailing on the torso until he finally dies, overall, Chambara was harder tbh.

IF YOU WANNA CHEESE, then i'll give you the cheddar, basically, if you [Talk] to him then you can render him passive for the entire fight, to do this just select [Talk] and pick:

*"Prepare to die like a worm!"
*"Well this is a close as you get. This is the end of you!"
*"You're nothing but a puppet in the greater scheme of things."
*"How little you really know..."

Now, because you've hurt Francóis incredibly fragile ego he will do ♥♥♥♥ all for 3 whole turns

Once he says that "I'm still waiting!" just use the same [Talk] command and it just makes him completely harmless for the entire fight, easily one of the cheapest ways to kill him but... with how the game has been treating you it's also quite cathartic.
Greater Blight
Health - While closing in (2000) - Head (2000) - Torso (2000) - Left Arm (500) - Both Legs (1000)
Evasion Rate - 1st and 2nd turn (104% phy, no mag) - 3rd turn (65% phy, no mag) - Everything else (5% phy, no mag)

The Greater Blight is a boss that can be found in the Void, the game will tell you that he's chasing you by telling you "A terrifying prescence has caught your scent..." at which point you should just hide in one of the holes since this will make him leave and this boss is completely optional and you gain nothing by killing him.

Anyway if you wanna kill him his attacks are [Stomp] which deals low damage though its used once per both of his legs, [Chomp] which deals comically high damage and if he has something else i have no clue because he kills you so fast.

The strategy is to apply poison and whatever other status you can cause before he gets to you and then guard for the entire fight, everything else probably gets you killed.

Overall, just avoid him.

Traces of Sylvian
Health - Head (5000) - Torso (6000) - Big Tentacles (2000) - Small Tentacles (1500) - Tumor (5000) - Transformed Tumor (2700)
Evasion Rate - Head (55% phy, no mag) - Everything Else (5% phy, no mag)

Sylvian, being one of the Old Gods, is one of the hardest bosses in the game by far, she has an array of stuns, big damage and she is even immune to poison which is normally busted to hell, she's a very troublesome gal but let's just go over her moves first.

The Big Tentacles can use [Tentacle Slam] which deals good damage but they also have a 50% chance to do nothing, the Small Tentacles have a 50% chance to use [Tentacle Whip] which deals decent damage or do nothing, a quirk of these moves is that the damage cannot be reduced by any armor so you will always take full damage.

Another attack she has is [Colour From the Unknown] which deals 25 mind damage to the entire party, she uses this at the end of the 3rd turn and then every 4th turn, if you cut off all her tentacles then she will use this move every turn, if you're in a 4th turn (4,8,12,16,etc) then she will use it twice in a row dealing 50 mind damage to the entire party.

Yet another move she has is [Entangle] which she uses at the end of the 1st turn and then at the end of every 4th turn, this move completely paralyzes one of your party members and will dissapear at the end of the every 3rd turn, it will also end if you cut off all her tentacles.

And her last move is her [Tumor], this thing has a chance of becoming one of the 4 main playable characters and all of them have their own moves so lets go over them one by one.

*Cahara: He has two attacks, [Critical Stab] which deals good damage, causes [Critical State], [Bleeding], and [Infection], he can also use a regular double attack which can cut off a limb and cause [Bleeding].

*D'arce: She has a chance to use [Leg Sweep] which cuts off one of your legs and cause [Bleeding] and also deals good damage, she can also use the same regular attack a Cahara.

*Enki: He has a 50% chance to use [Hurting] which blows up one of your limbs and deals good damage, this is the best case scenario imo because the other option is [Locust Swarm] which stuns the entire party

*Ragnvaldr: He has a 50% chance to use an attack that just deals damage and bleeds, he can also use [Aim Carefully] which does nothing but the next turn he will use a coin flip attack that will one shot you, fun fact, the [Marksmanship] move comes from the [Left Tentacle 2] which means that if you cut it it makes Rag super useless.

Now for the strategy to beat her, so, some things, you cant blind her, you cant poison her and she deals full damage no matter what so [Pheromones] is pretty much a death sentence so you need to deal damage and a lot of it.

Have your best weapons equipped, put on [White Angel Soul] if you have it for the extra turn, if you have multiples equip them all, use [Locust Swarm] which will stun her and give you a free turn, use [Leg Sweep] to cut off the Small Tentacles immediatly and then focus down the big tentacles with your party, kill the Transformed Tumor once it grows and then spam the Torso until she finally lets you go.

If you're insane or a moron here's how to fight her solo, [Penance Armor] since it makes you immune to Rags [Marksmanship], [White Angel Soul] equipped, [Purified Eastern Sword] for damage and i want you to know that this i quite luck based.

So, turn 1 use [Locust Swarm] to not die immediatly once you get entangled, once youre freed use [Locust Swarm] again and use an [Elixir of mind] on your free turn.
Use [Leg Sweep] to cut off the small tentacles.
Pray the tumor is Ragnvaldr since he sucks.
Heal and be ready to be pummeled, once you're freed from [Entangle].
Use [Locust Swarm] again and this time just cut off one of the tentacles.
Heal and get [Entangled] again.
Once youre free [Elixir of Mind].
[Locust Swarm].
Punch the other tentacle to death.
Use [Locust Swarm] again.
Kill the Rag tumour and then just punch Sylvian to death.

This is comically luck based, overall, just bring a party lol... or better yet, just play in Fear and Hunger difficulty since Sylvian only shows up in Terror and Starvation and Hard mode.

This guy is a massive ♥♥♥♥♥ compared to what you just went through if you beat Sylvian, doesnt mean he's a joke but he's not too bad.

So, this guy has a couple of attacks, he will mainly damage you by using [Black Orb] which hits like a truck, [Healing Whispers] which heals for an astounding like, 200 health lol, he can summon [Asterisks] which also use [Healing Whispers] upping the health gain to 400-600-800ish respectively, they can also poke for some Caligura level damage though they only have 200 health.

He also has a coin flip attack called [Salvation] which will straight up one shot you, he uses it every 4 turns.

The best way to kill him is with the tried and true method of [Poison], [Burn], [Bleed] and whatever else, you will heavily outdamage his healing and his pitiful health pool of 3200 wont be enough to keep him alive as long as you have a party and good weapons.

If you cant do that then just use [Pheromones] on your tank, [Guard] with them and just keep damaging this guy until he dies, though remember to heal your tank ofc.

Evasion Rate - Heads (85% phy, 65% mag) - Everything Else (5% phy, no mag)

I completely forgot this guy existed and i had to rather quickly shove him after having written everything else, i swear i will never be done with these guides lol

Well, there isnt much to say if im completely honest, he's just the same as the old Crow Mauler but you fight him in the Gauntlet so you're much, much stronger than he is, you still shouldnt treat him like a joke though because [Peck] is even more bs now.

His attacks are exactly the same as the og Crow Mauler, so, [Maul] which deals decent damage from his club hand, [Flock of Crows] which can blind and be avoided by using the [Iron Mask] and [Peck] which is an instant kill with no coin toss.

At this point i would be dissapointed in your if you cant pull 1750 damage out of your ass through dots, op weapons and the like so i'll just say, poison, burn, cursed blue sin or purified eastern sword, you can blind him to not die to peck and win.

Theres a couple other quirks to him, like how his club arm breaks immediatly if you're in the Terror and Starvation difficulty because... i dont know, you can also use [Marksmanship] and one shot him in the overworld unlike his one headed brother.

Overall, a tough opponent but a bit of a joke for this stage of the game unless he gets a lucky one shot.

Health - Torso (6000) - Both Arms (3000) - Eyes (1500) - Opened Eyes (100)
Evasion Rate - Everything (5% phy, no mag)

Gro-Goroth is a very tough boss but not nearly as tough as Sylvian since he is not immune to poison or other dots so killing him is much, much easier.

His attacks are [Claw of a God] which hits for high damage and also cuts off an arm, he can use it once per hand, his eyes when opened will squirt molten and deal around 20 damage each and he will also use [Whispers of Gro-Goroth] at the start of the fight which forces you to kill him in 5 turns or die.

Much simpler than his counterpart overall but still quite deadly, to beat him i reccomend putting [Black Witch Soul] and just apply [Poison], [Burn], [Bleed] or whatever status ailments because they deal 1000 damage which means you only need to deal 1000 damage yourself to kill him in 5 turns, overall, would be hard if status effects werent as busted.

If, for some reason, you cant do that then good luck soloing but also, you should just do the [Pheromones] strategy, use [Pheromones] on your tank, keep them [Guarding], heal them whenever they need it and keep damaging the boss until he dies.

The first 3 phases are rather simple, just an array of decently damaging attacks with the only one of note being her poison breath which inflicts poison... guess she learned that from someone... in her 4th phase she will be at her most dangerous, having a coin flip attack that deals very high body and mind damage and also [Purifying Ember] which deals good damage and i think it can apply [Burn]? not sure but it would make sense.

So, best way to kill her is going to surprise you, grab your [Cursed Blue Sin], [Black Witch Soul] and dot her to death, for the most part you will completely skip the first 3 phases and only the 4th will be a problem and even then just having your entire party use [Guard] while the dots tick down is a valid strategy though dealing damage with your good weapons works too.

If not then just use the tried and true [Pheromones] strategy of just having a tank [Guard], use [Pheromones] on then heal then whenever they need it, this boss doesnt do much more than damage so you shouldnt worry too much about status ailments or whatever aside from poison.

Overall, a bit anti climactic gameplay wise since status ailments are so insane if you use them but hey, dont look at a gifted horse in the mouth, makes my life easier lol

Well... That's all! i'm pretty sure that is every single boss in the game covered, this guide took a while to make and if there are any errors or problems please point them out down below, i'll be honest and say that i kiiiinda got a bit tired at the end so sorry if the guides to the final bosses are a bit dry but they should be enough to give you a good idea of what to do.

Anyway, if you're gonna point out the lack of any mention of the fights with party members and the like that's because i plan to make a guide on how to get them as allies and i'll also mention how to kill them so stay tuned for that, it's gonna come out... sometimes this year hopefully lol

With all that outta the way, thank you very much if you made it this far and i really do hope that this guide was of any use to you and if there are any issues don't be afraid to point them out down below and i'll try to correct them, and with that, i'm done for now, bye bye for now!
