A simple guide to get all of the in-game awards.

In-Game Awards

At the moment, there are no Steam achievements for this game. However, there are achievements available in-game. They are presented upon completion of the game. These are really just for your own enjoyment!

Cat Whisperer

For taming the wild beast

After George tells you the command to calm Suki down, ask: "Did you learn any more Suki commands?"

Then interact with Suki and say all possible command words:

Find at least one out of four easter eggs.

Fashion Designer

For sharing your costume designs with the world

Make and send at least 8 avatar designs using the fashion program on Yumi's computer.

Mystery Seeker

For watching eerie footage

When visiting Yumi's apartment, take the DVD out of her closet then watch it on her computer.

Password Pilferer

For returning "borrowed" goods to their rightful home

Take the envelope out of the puzzle box at the reception desk. Once you've unsealed the envelope and viewed the password, reopen the puzzle box and place the envelope back inside.

Puzzler Pro

For solving all of Ren's puzzles

Complete all 24 puzzles across the three categories (nonogram, sudoku, and renogram) given to you by Rentaro. There are 8 puzzles of each type.

If you successfully complete all of them, you will get additional dialogue with Rentaro as a reward.

Recording Artist

For listening to the world around you

Record and playback audio using the EVP recorder at the following spots:

• behind the cherry tree in the gardens
  
• beside the firepit in the lobby
  
• with your back facing the mirror in the baths
  
• while standing near the water in the baths
  
• in the hallway right outside Nancy's room
  
• in the opposite upstairs hallway
  
• right next to the stone lantern in the garden pond
  
• next to the murky water in the hidden baths

Make sure that there are wavy lines while recording. If the line is flat, you may need to adjust your position and record again.

For mastering the art of bento

Prepare at least 10 bento boxes for Yumi.

Souvenir Searcher

For getting all of the prizes

Obtain all 15 prizes at the pachinko parlor plus all 7 phone charms.

Tips
According to Rentaro, the machine on the right in the pachinko parlor has better odds.

To gather the complete set of seven phone charms, start by obtaining three of them (whale, mushroom, and donut) through the prize machine at the pachinko parlor. Present these three charms as a gift to Yumi. After assisting Yumi with enough bento boxes, she will gift you three new phone charms (monkey, spiky balls, and cat). Finally, return to the pachinko parlor and win the original three phone charms (whale, mushroom, and donut) once more.

Step into the baths at least 6 times.

Teacher's Pet

For making sure your job wasn't forgotten

In your room at the ryokan, there is a box with a green lid. This contains the homework of your students. New homework will appear each day.

Use the stamps to grade the homework (it doesn't matter which stamps you use).

Grade all 5 sets of homework:

Trivia Tamer

For correctly answering the trivia question

At the end of the game, you will see a trivia question just before the in-game awards and credits. Provide the correct response to the question.

Tips
Once the trivia question appears, make sure to save your game. This will preserve the question, allowing you to reload the save file and make another attempt if you answer it incorrectly.
