Delete the folder Mods and LevelCache

Go to

%LocalAppData%\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles

Delete modsettings.lsx

Go to

game's local files (via Steam: Right-click on game in Library -> Manage -> Browse Local Files)

Check for the folders Mods and Public and delete them

Go then to the bin folder and delete/restore any additional/modified files you have added for your mods.

In doubt: delete the whole bin folder and verify the game's files integrity to redownload the correct files.

Right-click on game in Library -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files

KEEP IN MIND: SAVEGAMES
A savegame which already has a mod dependency cannot be restored to "vanilla". You will either have to continue using that savegame only with the mods you used before, or you would have to restart the game from the beginning. For everything else, consult the mod authors respectively.

Trivia: mods always have to be reinstalled after each game update, preferably with an updated mod version.
In-game Mod Manager
If you are using the In-game Mod Manager, which was added with patch #7, game version number 4.1.1.5849914, please make sure that you unsubscribe from subscribed mods via your web browser before following the steps above.

Otherwise, the game will automatically reinstall the mods every time you launch Baldur's Gate 3 to ensure that your subscriptions are up to date.
