How to Respec your character in Baldur's Gate 3

This guide will have the steps on how to properly Respec your character (Or any character in party) It might have a little bit of spoilers since we have to rescue an NPC so you are now aware.

Keep in mind that this character only help us by doing a respec for our classes and not how we look.

Steps to do to unlock Respec in Baldur's Gate 3

Recommended the following before going to the Crypt where our NPC is located

• Be at least level 2-3 because you are going to fight vs two group of bandits and skeletons.
  
• Have thief tool kits since we are going to open 2 doors (If you don't have there is a chance if you kill the bandits that they will have a few).
  
• Recommended but not need to bring a few light spells or torches in case you are playing ranger character

Locating the Crypt

The first thing that we are going to do assuming you already explore the Beach and activated the Roadside Cliffs portal (Or Overgrown Ruins Portal) we are heading north on the Roadside Cliffs path until you get to the Chapel, you are going to see a few members from a bandits group speaking about a ship, I tried 3 different dialogues to see if we can skip the fight but didn't work I always ended up fighting them (Which can be good for looting/exp)

There is a total of 3 bandits members on the chapel, around 6-7 inside the Crypt so be prepared and save before going below.


After we defeat the group of bandits on the Chapel, you will see a giant rock hanging from a rope, you can use one of your ranger skills or mage spells to cut the rope and make a hole so we can now jump into the Dank Crypt, if you kill and looted all the bandits one of them have a key that you can use to open the door that also goes to the Crypt so you can take advantage to fight the other bandits group there

Now that you are inside the Crypt you will find a door that is sealed and has no lock to open it (Marked on the image below)

In order to enter here you need to go again to the chapel and this time you will the the east path as you can see on the first image, there will be a Hatch and there is where you are going to use your thief tool kit to open it, feel free to save it before doing it since depending on your class the roll can ask up to 20.


Now that you are in, go to the center where you can see a statue without head and there will be a perception check, which is because you will see a button there.

After clicking on the button you will be open a secret door but now all the dead skeletons that you saw during your walk there are going to attack you.

After defeating them, go back where you opened the secret door and open the coffin where Withers is going to be, speak to him keep a positive talk (just don't attack him or leave the conversation) and he will join your camp, even tho that he said that he will go to find his path, eventually is going to be in your camp looking for you.

Withers ask for a price of 100g to respec your character and 200g to add a Wither on your party, which you can choose from the current 12 classes available.



And that's it now you can respec this early, congratulations.
