How to Play Plants vs. Zombies 2 on Steam!

hey guys!

since pv2 is sadly not on steam, i ended up using an emulator to play it on. it worked so well that i wanted to share this with other people who may want to play pvz2 after playing pvz1. so here it is!

Step 1: Go to Bluestacks website

First, visit this website: Bluestacks[www.bluestacks.com]
This is the emulator we are going to use. Don't worry about viruses, this is a very well known and trusted emulator.
when you visit the website, this screen will pop up. Download Nougat 64-bit. We will need this version of Bluestacks because PopCap stopped support of 32-bit devices.

Step 2: Run the Installer

Run the installer that it downloaded and follow the steps it shows.
When the download is complete, Bluestacks will automatically open.
It will look similar to this image when it is done, without all the games I already have downloaded.

Step 3: Download PvZ 2

Next, we will head over to the Play Store which is located in the System apps. Click on Play Store.
When you open it, it will look like this. Make sure that when it prompts you to log in with a google account, you log in. That is how you make purchases.
In the search bar at the top, search for plants vs zombies 2.
Then, download the game. This may take a few minutes to complete depending on your network connection.
When it has completed downloading, it will appear on your home screen in the emulator.
Congrats! You can now play PvZ 2 on your computer. If you want to go further and be able to just open pvz 2 straight from steam, move on to step 4.

Step 4: Add PvZ 2 to Steam

At the bottom left corner of your steam library, it says add a game. click on that.
Then, add a Non-Steam Game
This menu will appear. Find Bluestacks 5 in the list, then click the blue button at the bottom that says Add Selected Programs.
Once added, right click on Bluestacks 5 and select Properties
You'll need to replace these 2 directories with different ones. For TARGET, paste "C:\Program Files\BlueStacks_nxt\HD-Player.exe" including the parenthesis. For START IN, paste C:\Program Files\BlueStacks_nxt\

Step 5: Customize

Now that you have Bluestacks in your library, you'll see that it doesnt have any cover art and everything is grey. If you want to change that follow these steps.
First, let's change the icon in the games list. hover your mouse over Bluestacks and right click > Properties.
then this menu will pop up, click on the grey box.
You can then choose a photo to use. Personally, I looked up Bluestacks Logo and used an image from there.
Perfect!
Next we can change the background. Right click the blank space here and select Set Custom Background. I used the Bluestacks 5 Beta logo from google.
Once you set it, it will look like this:
Next we can do Set Custom Logo. Right click the header again and click Set Custom Logo instead.
I used the Bluestacks 5 logo again.
The end result is this. Now you can click play and use Bluestacks to play Plants vs. Zombies 2 easily from Steam. You can even use it to play other mobile games such as Crossy Road, Bad Piggies, Cut the Rope, etc!

tried to install it on an already existing blue stacks 64 nougat but it wont work

I really want to try it, but when I try to install bluestacks 5, the install window just flash a moment and quickly disappear, I have no idea how could i resolve this question.

Honestly forget because last time I tried was like around a month ago but I remember when I looked up the error code it redirected me to a completely different error

Very good guide the only thing is when I go to the app player in bluestacks it shows a error message and I've tried uninstalling many times but it doesn't work for some reason
