Light discipline and breaching
- When breaching a room, you may be tempted to use your light with no pause in use. While you can see the enemy better, they can see you far before you can go around the corner by seeing your flashlight around said corner.

So, ask yourself, why give the enemy that advantage? Whenever possible, use the darkness to get a few extra milliseconds in your favor. That's all you may need to kill the enemy before they can kill you.
Light discipline and defence
- The key to a good defense is to surprise your enemy with sudden and overwhelming firepower all at once. To achieve this is impossible when constantly shining your light at a door frame you expect them to come through.

So turn it off and let them come through the doorway. They'll never know what killed them until they meet Allah.
In the absence of light, use sound
- Sound can be your friend in the absence of light, be sure to use it. Stop for a few seconds, not only to think but to listen as well. When you hear something close by, there IS SOMETHING close. Communicate that fact to the team to avoid friendly fire and possibly catch the AQI by surprise.
