How to survive the wait for 2.2

Here's how to survive the incredibly long wait for 2.2. Although it has been 6 years, we are getting close -- we're almost halfway there.

Step 1 - Uninstall GD

Don't worry, we can reinstall the game later. For now go to Library > Home > Right click on GD > Manage > Uninstall. This is just to give ourselves a break from the game until 2.2 arrives.
Step 2 - Get a job
If you haven't already done so, go get yourself a job so that the time goes by quicker. Not only are they great for helping you be patient with RobTop, but you'll also earn yourself some extra cash, too.
Step 3 - Go for a walk
Get outdoors and go for a walk. Enjoy the fresh air. Try to implement this as a key habit that you do once a day, even if isn't for very long. For most people, a going a walk is considered Easy or Normal difficulty (2-3 stars), but for GD players, going for a walk can often be quite difficult (6-7 stars). Overtime though, it will get easier. Just takes practice. And no, practice mode is not available for this one.
Step 4 - Read a book
This one is a tough one. Reading a whole book is generally considered a noteworthy accomplishment because of it's length. It's definitely quite more challenging than going for a walk, so I'll have to give it 7-9 stars on average, but some books are long enough that they could be considered Demon difficulty. Either way, they will help you pass the time.
Step 5 - Hit the gym and attempt the benchpress
The gym is an excellent place to get your mind off of Geometry Dash for a while. One of the most classic exercises you can do at the gym is the benchpress, along with squats, deadlifts, bicep curls, shoulder presses, etc. One goal I recommend you try is achieving a 135-pound benchpress. This is considered an Easy Demon for most players. It is basically the equivalent of beating The Nightmare.

Once that is done, consider trying to get it up to 225 later on. This is generally recognized as a Hard Demon. I wish you good luck with your gym progress!
Step 6 - Play other games
Once you've worked hard at your new job, gone for a walk, read a book, and hit the gym, you now can rest and relax and play some games. To get GD off your mind for now, consider playing some healthier games such as League of Legends, Genshin Impact, Overwatch, Fortnite, Valorant, CSGO, World of Warcraft, COD, or Destiny 2. These games are generally considered healthier gaming outlets and are FAR less addictive. One of my personal favorite calming games is Getting Over It.
Step 7 - Be patient.

At this point, all it takes is patience. But hopefully now that you've done some good habits, the pain of waiting for 2.2 is starting to diminish. Just remember that we're getting closer and closer to 2.2, and that it will be out soon. Whatever soon really means.
