Intro
As with all my guides, here's some things you might like to know going forward:

  • There is a BAD glitch at the Paris catacombs. A fix for you might be to skip the cutscenes entirely. If this doesn't work, there are some good fixes on reddit and even a mod for the file. Users on GOG claim to have more success with the game on this section - but it's still not great.

  • Click on the map in the catacombs. I know it does nothing and shows nothing useful for the majority of the game - but it is different there and changes to be actually helpful.

  • The spacebar is your friend. It helps you highlight interactable zones on the screen, and makes the game much less painful.

  • To merge items, use the first item, and click on the second item in your inventory to combine it.

  • This guide will be incredibly brief. It's a long, somewhat wordy game anyway, so this is literally just the minimum amount of detail, intentionally vague for no spoilers, and intentionally short (The old guides can be wordy for no good reason.)

  • This guide does not need to be followed in order, and some parts are not even needed. Unlike the previous instalments like mystery of the druid, there's moonlogic but it isn't strict. If you forget this one thing in the walkthrough, the game is not going to halt. You can still progress.

  • This game is a buggy mess. Save, save often, and rotate your saves. There is no soft-lock, as this is a largely linear game compared to their other work, but it's still by these devs. You saw the reviews, you know what you're getting yourself into. Buckle up.
Walkthrough Part 1 (1st Heist)
  • Check answering machine
  • Talk to Bernard, GET magnifying glass from desk
  • See Mike’s office is locked
  • GET compass from your room
  • After talk, get “console”/transmitter from the small tabletop on the right of Mike’s room.
  • Talk to Bernard, Use phone to call Tom back, go to Mike’s room, talk to Mike.
  • Go downstairs and go outside, then open the van door and leave.
  • At the London Eye - do puzzle: Calibrate the transmitter – match the bottom waveform to the top (or skip puzzle) Then talk to Mr Odila, then get back in van.

  • Go back to loft. Go to Mike, talk to him. Get USB. Talk to him, give him stick. Click “icebear” browser and search for Winston Churchill. Click the art database link – find an image of a portrait and click it. Then leave the PC.
  • Try to use the van.
  • Talk to McBride, use USB with projector, talk to McBride again. Go back to loft.

    AS JACK:
  • Pick up the police badge from his desk
  • Use PC, open Thunderbolt Email program.
  • Open your inventory, use cell to call Bellicoe
  • Check your email again and get the password.
  • Use browser to research “James Henston” and follow the link to the “Rhodes foundation”
  • Use cellphone again to call airport, after the call, check mail for print out of ticket. Get ticket from printer.

  • Go to desk and ask for key, use elevator to get to van, use key on van
  • Go to London Foreign Office
  • Go talk to Bellicoe, the go in office, GET Calendar, look at painting behind desk of Cecil Rhodes.
  • Examine calendar closer to see Nancy Jenkins and Laureen Myers and the company ArtTrans
  • Go back to van, use internet to find out about these people, and their phone numbers.
  • Use phone to call them all – LEARN THAT Cecil Rhodes company thing, Jack will remember G8 summit. Search for G8. Go to the front of the van and drive off.

    MUSEUM AS BERNARD:
  • Enter museum, scout security systems.
  • Examine fingerprint sensor near door. GET brochure from desk (+ map).
  • Use brochure with two cameras in room to map them
  • Go to backstairs in the cellar and use brochure there (one is literally just a red light)
  • Return upstairs and go to Cathryn, map the final four cameras there

    MUSEUM AS MIKE:
  • Click on the notebook and the hacking tool on the desktop
  • Route of 24 or less
  • Up, up right, right, down right, up right, up, left, up left, left, up right, up, left, up left. (or skip)

    MUSEUM AS CATHERINE:
  • Talk to the guard, then go outside and go to the pub

    PUB:
  • Talk to bartender, get beer, talk to museum guard. When he’s gone, pick up YOUR glass and exchange it with the guard’s glass. Click in-game map, and go back to the loft

    LOFT:
  • Magnifying glass on museum blueprints, centre the door on the right that separates the museum from the museum in the magnifying class and click it. Head out the loft and to the pier

    JETTY:
  • Dive into the thames, swim to the right opening and click grating. Tie rope to grate, and pull away with boat
  • Enter the tunnel to museum, go to door. Door has lock, examine it, use magnifying glass.

    AS JACK, LONDON MODERN:
  • Talk to guard, GO TO PUB. Talk to bartender, look at newspaper, talk to bartender.
    Call his boss.

    AS CRIMINALS, LOFT:
  • Mike – in his room, click the table on the right of computer
    Take silvernitrate, use on glass, turn on UV lamp, get fingerprint
  • Sink in Mike’s room, GET rubber gloves, use fingerprint on rubber glovers to create fake fingerprint
  • Talk to Cathryn – then go get the flashlight on the desk in cathryn’s room. Then go back downstairs and use the projector to start a cut scene.

    ATELIER OF MCBRIDE:
  • Talk to Robert and get a copy of the portrait, return to the loft and at the pier, talk to Bernard.

    CELLAR OF MODERN MUSEUM:
  • call the museum guard.
  • Use the bumpkey from your inventory to open the door.

    AS BERNARD:
  • Use fake fingerprint on the fingerprint reader. Pull cable from the cupboard with surveillance cameras.
    EXCHANGE PICTURES.
Walkthrough Part 2 (2nd Heist)
AT LOFT AFTER HEIST:
  • Use map to get Cathryn to London eye. Get a new job. At loft, search Washington, Museum Paris

    AT ATELIER:
  • Talk and connect usb to projector again. Talk to mike and go back down and use telephone to talk to Tom.

    AS JACK, MUSEUM:
  • Call boss, check email, call your boss again and ask for permission. Check your mail again, launch the application
  • Look for letters/numbers that can easily be changed with tape to look like other letters: Answer EPO8 PXW

    AS JACK, THE LOFT:
  • Badge in your inventory -> Bumpkey. Open the loft front door with the bumpkey. GET Business card, see Travelling documents. Go back to van, look up “Megabase” company. Call company on cell, try to call Mike, call your boss, then use email to find out mike is in:

    PARIS, AS MIKE:
  • Use stopwatch with cameras (3 in room) then 2 in cellar, then the one alone. Examine the portrait and go back after talking to the same guard that spoke to Bernard.

    PARIS, AS BERNARD:
  • Guard in the window top left.

    PARIS, AS CATHRYN:
  • Enter catacombs, room with a gate. Look inside, then use the flashlight to look again, to see graffiti wall.

    PARIS, AS JACK:
  • Call your boss.

    PARIS, CLUB ELECTRONIC:
  • Talk to Bouncer, Bribe bouncer. Go talk to Cathryn, then enter the club.
  • Talk to Francois inside
  • Use Mike’s cellphone (scummvm) to snap a photo
  • Leave the club to go back to catacombs.

    PARIS, CLUB AS JACK:
  • Ask bouncer about Mike

    PARIS CATACOMB:
  • Use the map of the catacombs with brochure map, enter catacombs behind gates
    click the map icon and get a detailed map view of catacombs
  • Also look at the compass.
  • Go north twice, at a room with a wagon wheel. Then east, north, east, north, west.

    STORAGE ROOM:
  • Flashlight on switch on right. Click on the map in lower left and click on the open door symbol on the bottom of the map

    AT CATACOMBS ENTRANCE:
  • north, north (wagonwheel room), west, north, north, north, west, north, west – museum wall.
    then go back outside and use van. (Honestly though? Either youtube this or familiarise yourself with the "Landmarks" on the map and brute force it.)

    PARIS, IN FRONT OF MUSEUM:
  • Flashlight, click on spots until you find a good one for the explosives. After you’ve found three spots,

    PARIS, STORAGE ROOM, AS BERNARD:
  • Find pipes in the storage room and a crowbar on bench, then open crate with grenades on the left, Bernard will take some. Put grenade in bench vice and use the wrench in their inventory on the grenade. Use opened grenade with the pipes in your inventory.

    PARIS, MUSEUM WALL, AS CATHRYN:
  • Drill the holes in the places you found earlier

    CATHRYN in the cellar:
  • Go into the room

    MIKE:
  • Reconfigure the laser barrier so the beams will flash in a straight line, instead of diagonally. Must use A, B, C and D at least once! -> Combination D-D, A-B, C-C, D-D, C-C, B-A or skip.

    BERNARD:
  • Walk under window where you talked to the guard earlier and light the firecracker with lighter.
  • Cathryn swaps the places and then flees.
Walkthrough Part 3 (After the 2nd Heist)
  • Call Bernard on telephone, then talk to mike, then Cathryn’s father, then leave/go to London Eye.

    PARIS, AS JACK:
  • Read newspaper, drive to museum, talk to guard, get in van and talk to boss. Call Bellicoe and head to London.

    London, Atelier:
  • Search Jack to get his car key and use it on Jack’s van to go to airport. Go to Caribbean.

    AT THE CARIBBEAN:
  • Talk to soldier, go to the village and turn left to the gates of a mansion, go back to the crossing. Call mike.
  • Go back to beach, talk to the fisherman in the foreground. Go to village, go back to fisherman, follow him home, call Mike.
  • While soldier is gone next day, go to wrecked car, and get a mine. Whilst the soldier is gone, go to the tower and place the mine into the puddle of petrol on the left side of the left gas pump. Go back to village and talk to the gentleman.

    SURINAWA, Elengi’s mansion:
  • Talk to Elengi, try to pull a curtain in another room. After cutscene, try to open steel door. Go back and get the small device on the table at the viewpoint and take it. It can open the steel door, so go open it.
  • Look at door, look at control board and open it. Go to map from earlier, call mike, guide them through the mine belt. After the team arrives, deposit the handy at the fuel pump with the mine and return to the villa.
