Werewolves: How to unlock all Dormant Abilities
By Kiwa
Here's a detailed guide written by me, on how to unlock all six dormant abilities in sims 4: werewolves.

I also provided an easy method to get some of the abilities quicker so that none of you have to struggle through it like I did hahaha.

Transformation Mastery

Transformation Mastery is probably one of the most important dormant abilities to have as a werewolf sim because you're able to spar with other werewolves and challenge them to a tug-o-war match, whether it's for fun or to overthrow the current alpha of the pack, or.. you enjoy being in your beast form, like the pack members of the wildfangs. Basically meaning you can transform at will.

The instructions are pretty simple.

You CANNOT be around anyone while you're having your very first werewolf rampage or else the sims around you will be scared.

Your goal is to not scare anyone during your first rampage.

If your werewolf sim is the only household member, this can be easily done by keeping them in their house until they turn back to their human form. Personally I just kept my werewolf sim around the entrance to the bunker at the Grimtooth bar because you rarely see anyone go to the bunker. So pretty much I can tell you that being in a secluded area, or a place where rarely any NPCs go to can work as well.

If your werewolf sim is not the only household member, things will get a little tricky. The best you can do to not scare any of the household members is to make them go for a jog, or have them go somewhere as a group and leave your werewolf sim out of it. You can also lock the household members out of the house until your werewolf sim is back to their human form.

I recommend keeping your werewolf sim busy around the house by scratching furniture, marking territories on the floor, go scavenging (if the house has a fenced backyard where no sims can see your werewolf sim), and break stuff. I highly don't recommend leaving your werewolf sim alone as they can do whatever they want as long as you aren't in control, such as going somewhere you don't expect them to be.

Your werewolf sim should immediately have the dormant ability unlocked once they're back into their human form.
Lunar Epiphany

Lunar Epiphany lets you read ancient werewolf writings that you find by scavenging the ground. It is also one of the options you can choose to become a member of a pack.

This is by far what I think, the easiest dormant ability to unlock.

You need to read werewolf literature. For clarification, books that are related to werewolves.

Here's a list of books related to werewolves.

- An insider's guide to being a werewolf
- The good boy
- A history of moonwood mill
- Packs & Prejudice
- Fanged friends forever
- Peter barker's first moon
- Peter barker's homecoming
- Peter barker... in space?
- The werewolf who came in from the cold
- The wolf next door
- The night the moon forgot to shine
- The diary of greggorius lunvik

You can find some of these books by scavenging, or checking the library in moonwood mill. Unless you're too lazy then I'd suggest purchasing it from your bookshelf.

It will take some time for the lunar epiphany ability to be unlocked, so it's best to speed up your game.
Werewolf Mentorship

Werewolf Mentorship lets you mentor your fellow lycanthropes or pack members. Doing this gives them a bonus for their mood, rank, and their relationship gains.

This ability takes awhile to unlock because you need to be a veteran werewolf to have the 3 options to work below for the dormant ability to be unlocked, so if you aren't a veteran werewolf yet.. get on the grind!

Running 3 of these interactions will unlock the dormant ability.

- Share werewolf experiences.
- Practice howling.
- Offer pack mentorship on a pack member that is a lower rank.

Running one of the interactions just once should unlock the dormant ability for you.

Werewolf Empathy

The Werewolf Empathy dormant ability lets you pacify, or calm down other werewolf sims to prevent them from going on a rampage (If their fury aura shows that they're very close to rampaging).

Not much needs to be said about how to get this dormant ability, because there's just one thing you need to do, which is to become a Delta rank in a pack.
Werewolf Menace

The Werewolf Menace dormant ability lets you scare sims without feeling any remorse whatsoever. You can ferociously intimidate people as much as you please! Better yet, you'd be able to go home with a great amount of simoleons in your pockets. Look at you, you little rapscallion. You'd fit perfectly in the criminal career.

However, it's a little hard to unlock this dormant ability.

You must run "ferocious intimidation" or "vicious howl" on a sim who is already frightened while you're below maximum fury.

If you aren't a veteran wolf yet, it's a bit of a challenge. You don't see sims who are already scared so often, so you will have to run the command twice. The 2nd time you run the command gets tricky because they'd immediately take off running after the 1st time you run the "ferocious intimidation" command on them, but that's only if you're somewhere other than your house!

You can simply just invite your victim to your house and lock them in a room so that they're cornered and unable to run from you.

Running the "Vicious Howl" command isn't something I'd do personally, just because the victim isn't the only person hearing it. Everyone else will hear it if they are close by. I don't know about you, though.
Werewolf Diplomacy

Werewolf Diplomacy lets you convince non-werewolf sims that werewolves aren't as bad as they think they are. Having a non-werewolf sim as an ally will prevent them from being disgusted in you using your werewolf tactics to survive out in the wild. Seeing you groom yourself like a real wolf would? Not disgusted. Marking your territory instead of using a toilet? Not disgusted. Scavenging the ground in front of them? Not at all. You're free to do whatever around them.

The only things you need to do to unlock this dormant ability is to run the "Ask for werewolf sympathy" command on a non-werewolf sim.

The command will only work if you maintain a high friendship with the non-werewolf sim.

I also suggest running the "Discuss being a werewolf" command before asking for werewolf sympathy.

A fast way to do gain friendship points with a non-werewolf sim is to take as much pictures with them as possible on your phone. Doing anything else other than doing that method is just gonna slow down the process.

The friendship bar doesn't have to be maxed out for them to accept werewolf sympathy. You can have it almost maxed out and they'd still accept it.
