How To Exorcise The Ghost On Bedlam

This is a guide to help you exorcise the ghost on bedlam in full detail, if i miss anything ill edit the guide

equipment

Basically have all the equipment you take into the game with you normally, but make sure to bring barrier salt and pocket watch because there are important, the pocket watch is the most important thing to complete this exorcism.

The Beginning Of The Map

Firstly i did it with mates, but i think you cant do it solo and ill tell you the reason why later.

1. Enter the asylum by going round the back of the house going on the right when you leave the tent.
(there's a white shed when your walking past, and it has bolt cutters if you want an extra piece of item that the map will give you, it will be anything.)

When your in the building

Find and locate the ghost room and get all the evidence for the ghost, basically the main thing you do before anything. My personally opinion is to do it on easy for first time, then go to medium, you can do hard but because its a big map it will be difficult to do.

The Deer Painting

After you find the ghost type, go around the map looking for a deer painting (can spawn anywhere in the map on the walls) and go up to it and press e on it, to get a piece of the painting.

How to solve the puzzles

Firstly, make sure you have the piece of painting (the painting will be missing a piece when you find it and press e on it) and the puzzle is always in the basement, make sure you have salt barrier item with you because its your first time and it might take a long time to solve. When your on the puzzle, you use wasd to move around and space bar the move the pieces. You have to make it look like the painting you find on the wall.

Finished the puzzle

Next the the puzzle will be a note with times are them, make sure to look at it so it will be in you journal. Next to that a box will open with a key in it, grab it then head back upstairs and head into the room opposite the cafeteria. There will be a little picture on the side with pentagrams on them with some squares not having pentagrams.

The hard puzzle

This puzzle is hard because if you get it wrong once, you will die straight away, no crucifix or barrier salt will save you. Head into the room with the key you picked up (it wont be an item it will in you inventory automatically) and make sure NOT to step on the panels because if you get it wrong it will kill you. Make sure you have pocket watch because that is important. The times on the note is important because it tells you how to get over the puzzle on the floor, the picture is pattern a and the rest is in the note, then look at what time it is and look at the note to figure out what you have to do, ill attach some pictures to help you out. Once you have done it, enter the room, but this is where you might need more people, because once u enter the room, you cant get back into the asylum so you have to stay in the room.

The 2nd part of the puzzle

Once someone is in the room, let that person read the note out loud, it will say something like, find a scalpel, 2 fuses and electrical tape. The other person or people have go around the map looking for electrical tape, scalpels and fuses. The scalpels and electrical tape can be anywhere in the map but the fuses will be in the fuse boxes around the map, ill attach the images of the fuse boxes. Once you find it, the person in the room have to put the scalpel on the chair and fuses in the fuse box in the room. Flip the lever in the room and follow the wires and press e to put the electrical tape on it, flip the lever and boom the ghost is exorcised and you have done it

anyone confused on how to move the deer puzzle pieces;
you highlight which one you want to move and press the space bar but you can only move the ones next to the blank space.

I tend to sit and do it while my friends run around finding the missing piece and usually I'm done or close to it by the time they do.

thanks for the guide but I cant stand this puzzle. 5 items randomly placed around the large map with an instant death floor puzzle is just insane. Not to mention the time consuming picture puzzle you have to do while the ghost is hunting you. This map looks amazing but the replay value of it is fast dwindling.

The new map is beautiful, the only down side is my friends and I are unable to complete the deer painting puzzle. None of us are able to move the pieces and we have tried literally every button.

I managed to do this solo and you can leave the room to go back out. However, you have to make sure you are still within the time frame you came in otherwise you'll have to see what the safe walk path is if you happened to stay in there too long. I went in on Puzzle A which was 1-3 and left with maybe 4 seconds to spare the same way. Didn't die. It's doable solo but dear Lord is it tough
