How to easily have a minimap overlay with team sync

In this guide I showcase to you, my program designed specifically to have a minimap on the screen. But is more advanced than that...
Have you ever wasted precious seconds just figuring out how to describe where you are on the map? Often we end up giving absurd descriptions such as "I'm on the stone in front of the house looking at the main building". This system is clearly confusing and complicated.
I therefore present you: "Dbd Map Overlay" a simple program that puts a map on the screen in overlay, dividing the map into sectors, so you can easily tell your team your position.

What to expect

• 2D maps by Hens333[discord.com] but also 3D, more visual, maps for beginners by SamoelColt

• Fast and instant search. Put any realm or map and get all results with the preview

• Lobby synchronization with your team: everyone has the same map so no confusion or people forgetting to change it

How to install - download

• Download the setup files from my site[dbdmap.lucaservers.com] dbdmap.lucaservers.com or from github[github.com]
  
• Run the setup and wait the app to install and open automatically

How to use

First of all, settings and lobby are available in the main menu. Click on the 3 bars to open it

1. Display a map

With the mouse click on the search bar. Start typing the name of the map of the realm.
The results will filter automatically as you write.
After you found your map, click on it and the overlay will display

2. Customize the map

Open the menu, and than click on Settings

• The first option is a size bar. Click on the dot and move it to the left to decrease the size or move it to the right to increase it
  
• The second option is for the position. Click on the text and all the 4 options will display. Choose between Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left or Bottom Right
  
• The first option is a opacity bar. Click on the dot and move it to the left to make the overlay less visible or move it to the right to make it more visible

3. Create or join a party

Open the menu, and than click on Lobby Manager

If you want to host

• Click on Create Lobby
  
• Click on Show and share the code with your friends
  
• Once done, click on close lobby to avoid unauthorized people

If you want to join

• Type the code in the input box, than click join
  
• If you joined the wrong lobby click on Leave Lobby and do the process again

Im really a noov in coding stuff unfortionally, but i would love itt soooo much, if it would ne possible to integrate it to the Steam Deck or as an Integration for the Streamer.bot to use it faster and easier. Is this possible to code? Or to be able to customize hotkeys for each map? I would love it soooo much!!! Thanks in advance!!

@Complexity, you did not even read what this app does. It only places a minimap as an overlay on the screen. It does not know where the survivors are. The available maps are called "callout maps" and are widely used in the competitive scene. This program only puts a PNG on your screen, then you should use Discord or similar to callout your position. You can achieve the same thing by using the Steam overlay pin.

Why I can't see the overlay if in FullScreen?
Because, when on FullScreen, the game takes control of the screen and doesn't allow any other app to be on top of it.
Other apps like Steam and Discord are whitelisted by the game, so they can be on top of the game. Reminding what is said in the previous question, this app doesn't interact with the game.
How to fix
Go to the game graphic settings and set it to "Windowed" or "Windowed Fullscreen"
By doing this, the game will not take control of the screen and the overlay will be visible.

ppl will say this is cheating when actual good players just remember/learn the clocks instead of having a picture of it, and also some swfs will use this but still say comp is joke xdd
