what is the all you need achievement?
the all you need achievement is the achievement for hitting 200 mph using the i4 engine. at first this may seem impossible, but with the right setup it isn't too difficult.
precursor to starting the build
*update*
you may need to lower your graphics settings if you are having issues hitting higher speeds, as having a framerate under ~130 or over ~200 slightly decreases your acceleration, making this much harder or even impossible for some. a fix for this should come out in the future, but for now you may have to lower graphics.

before starting the actual build for the car, you have to unlock the west side of valo city by getting into club cheetah. you need the west side of valo city unlocked so the bridge in the part of the route pictured below isn't blocked off (note that you don't need to use cheats to make this into a race, the flags are there to show you the start and end points). in my experience, the build is easier to do after fully beating the game as you will probably have more money to mess around with.
starting the build
to start off the build, you will need to get a zed from the dealership. it does appear in the club cheetah dealership, but it has a very low chance of appearing so you may need to refresh quite a lot before you get one. after you get the zed, you only keep the driver's seat. strip it of all body parts and glass, as well as the battery and engine. you remove the wheels but keep the stock suspension, as the suspension itself doesn't seem to matter (however you may also want better brakes).
what to buy in the catalog
for your convenience (or inconvenience if you prefer lists), i have made images of the catalog to show you what you need to buy. if something has red over it, you don't need that! note that if a page does not appear in the screenshots, there is nothing you need on that page.

Engine Section

Body Section

note that body panels 2 or 3 both work, but i prefer 2 as they are cheaper (but only get stock doors)

Running Gear Section
x4
putting it together
this part should be self explanatory. now you get to put everything you bought together!

after putting it all together, go to the car info tab and look at your drag and mass. if your drag is 0.293 and your mass is 947kg, congratulations! you are one good run away from the all you need achievement.
the 200mph run
once you have your zed fully built, it's time for the run. enter valo city at night, as the traffic during the day makes it (almost) impossible. i made a video showing a 200 mph run here

follow the route i go, making sure not to redline the engine much. damaging the engine too much could result in enough power loss to not make it to 200. i prefer the small run up then turning into the long straight, however it is possible (although much closer) without it. if you use the run up, start using nos as soon as you hit the long straight. if you arent using the run up, start using nos around middle of 3rd gear to start of 4th gear.

remember to keep flooring it and hold nos the entire time. also try to make as minimal adjustments to your steering as possible.
finish
with that, you should be all done driving this zed and have a new achievement for your showcase. if you have any questions or issues, comment them below, and i'll try to respond when i can. otherwise, hope this helped and thank you for reading!

With so many tries reaching 194mph top speed, after reading this guide I've tried changing the target framerate in the GPU software, and the car just miraculously went over 205mph on the very next try...
Thank you for your guide octane - without your help, I would have gone mad!

Holy smokes that worked! Finally I was able to get this achievement.
You should add to the guide that you need to limit the FPS to around 140, as senebakk said higher framerates seem to cause issues too
And sorry for not being more specific the first time lmao

Finally I was able to get this achievement!
Looks like both too high and too low framerate cause problem.
I had to use RivaTuner to set max framerate to 140.
First tried using Nvidia Control Panel, but somehow didn't change in game framerate.
Using this it's possible to have 190 mph passing the bridge getting 200 shortly after. I got 208 mph at the end.

Additionally I have now tested that long straight road along the water in northern part of Southern District and got 205 mph on first run. So achievement is possible to get earlier, already from North East part of city. Same area Zed gets available for purchase and appear way more often than last area, but money could be an issue.

So it had something to do with the framerate... I had a hunch it could've been something like that, I know old games can freak out when the FPS ain't what they expect.
Thanks for your help once again! Maybe soon I'll be able to get this dreaded achievement lol

added an update after shep's explanation in the bug report discussion. as mentioned there, a fix for the framerate dependence will be figured out, but for now you are stuck lowering graphics.

Well, at least I'm glad to know it wasn't just me being an idiot or something. :steamhappy:

I tried some more, managing to get a bit higher speed at the end. I barely saw 196 mph just before I crashed into the end of the road. Problem is still the same. Getting 200 requires much more road or power. I can't understand how my car(exactly same and at 100% for every part) has so much lower acceleration especially for gear 5 and 6. Feels like my car has at least 10% less power. I posted this issue in bug topic so developer can check. All other achievements were much easier.

seems that the close ration transmission was a mistake on my part, not meant to get that but rather the normal 6 speed, however with just that change i was able to hit 200 with my setup. still don't know what could be causing it completely, but i'll update that transmission mistake asap. also, i play with keyboard as well so it isn't that.

maybe there is some sort of bug, or maybe i'm just a dummy, as both you and the other person both seem to be limited to 193 with my setup. i'll once over the guide again since now its not just one person with the issue.

Thanks for making guide. However it seems impossible at moment to reproduce.
I tried following exactly every step mentioned and watched video several times looking for possible mistakes. I see you already have over 180 mph at the bridge(same place I get 170) and still accelerating. Getting 200 with long way left. With your setup I get max 180. I think it could be due to close ratio transmission, because when I change to the other 6 gear one I get 193 at the narrow road at the end. I also changed wheels and other parts looking for improvements. I tried changing between automatic and manual transmission in settings without making difference. I play with keyboard, but not sure if that is contributing. So far this seems like a possible bug.
