Corn Strat
Prerequisite
Before you start the journey to beat Epic mode easily you need to unlock a few "secret tiles" including

- CORN
- TRACTOR
- WEATHER-VEIN
- WATER PUMP
- Barn (not necessary but very nice)
- Ore (not necessary but very nice)

You can unlock all of these when playing the easiest difficulty just complete the challenge to unlock them.

Another Prerequisite to playing Epic mode is beating Challenge and Boss mode, both can be beaten with this strategy easily. Doing this will unlock the "secret tile" for Chests which always gives you 2 stone, 2 wood, and 50 Gold. Chests also leaves behind tillable land so always pick chest if it appears.

The Beginning
The best beginning to EPIC difficulty is to start with 2 rocks (even better ore veins) that you will immediately turn into 2 wells. Next you want to plant as many watered carrots as you can using the energy from the wells.

The best free tiles to get in the coming days are rocks or ore veins, they give you a rock to build another well and give you a new tile to start expanding farmland. If a rock or ore isn't an option picking the well or a tree is the best follow up. NEVER PICK RANCH OR WATER SPOT.

In order from best tile to worst tile (early game)
- Chest
- Ore Vein
- Rock
- Artisan Well
- Fruit Tree/Tree

NEVER PICK (Buy empty tile instead)
- Ranch
- Water
- Boat
- Mountain

The setup for land and wells is important you want land to be in a 3x4 grid with a hollow center (2 space gap) and wells need to be a 3x3 with a hollow center.

*Important note switch from carrots to tomatoes as soon as they are available for maximum profit*

To The Finish Line
The rest of the run is very straightforward. Simply get a Pump to place in the middle of the Artisan Well grid. Then fill in the 3x4 farm space gap with a Windmill in the rightmost spot and a Farm Marketplace in the leftmost spot (when available).

The only other buildings you need are
- 1 Barn (Re-roll ability DOES NOT STACK)
- 1 Weather-vein (use to water all tiles after tilling)
- 1 Tractor (Harvest all Crops)

Keep expanding the land in a repeating 3x4 grid to the left. Plant Corn as soon as you can and harvest from the bottom right corner when using the tractor for maximum profit. The combination of Windmills, Marketplaces, and Corn/Tractor, results in each new farm tile providing 64 Gold per Day

A few tips:
- Use the pumps ability to fill the wells before ending the day
- Weather-vein before putting corn down in order to not accidentally waste energy watering
- Click and drag to till and seed quickly each day

Final Farm should look something like this

Congrats, you beat Epic difficulty with corn! I wonder how to beat it without corn. . .
True Epic Strat "Golden Goose"
Shoutout to nico for finding this easy way of beating "True Epic" post QoL update.
Prerequisite
"Secret Unlocks" needed are as follows:
  • Animal Market
  • Feed Trey
  • Goose
  • Incubator
  • Clover
  • Pump
  • Fruit Tree
  • Cider Press
  • Barn

"Secret Unlocks" not needed but helpful:
  • Ore
  • Chest
  • Horse

Stage 1: Different Start?
Unlike every other strat so far wood is absolutely vital and especially the Fruit Trees. Fruit Trees with a Cider Press make 30 Gold each funding all early game rent and carrying the run to the end game. With this being the case I find a Fruit Tree with a Stone to be the easiest and recommend resetting until you get this layout since the start is the closest in rent payments.

Day 1: As always turn the stone into a well and plant as many watered carrots as possible.

Day 4-11: Pay rent first and grow as many watered tomatoes as possible. Get to 10 Carrots for the free resource as well. Any stones you get turn into Artisan Wells (stop at 5-6) and any non Fruit Trees turn into ranches I promise there is a reason the ranches are built this way.

Day 12-16: Hoard 1 stone and 1 wood for this day and after paying rent build a cider press in the middle of the Fruit Trees you gathered thus far. Early Barn means everything *optimal placement is the empty space directly above the house* More Fruit Trees and growing tomatoes is the way to go. Only need 5 wells and 1 pump for the entire run

Day 17-24: Gather as much wood as possible and start setting up the end game money farm. Start incubating Goose eggs into ranches. After day 24 you can remove the fruit trees for wood and grow all clover.

Golden Goose Strat
Run Description
After making it this far its time to start developing the real income production; abusing the Goose's luck dependent Golden Egg spawn (spamming clovers), the $15 Egg becomes $99. Stacked with a Animal Market each Golden Egg is worth $198. The incubator is extremely cheap and used to fill the ranches with Geese while alternating Food Trey's and Animal Marketplaces multiplies the cost while easily feeding the Geese.
Optimal Setup for the Golden Goose Factory is:

Priority List:
  • *Barn (if none present)
  • *Pump (if none present)
  • *Fruit Tree (before day 24)
  • *Pond (if none present)
  • Chest
  • Animal Marketplace
  • Food Trey
  • Fruit Tree/Tree
  • Ranch
  • Ore/Stone
  • Empty Tile

TIps:
1.) Build all incubators no need to waste a free tile on them
2.) Fill the wells before end of day
3.) Don't waste time harvesting clovers unless really behind rent
4.) Don't harvest the geese only the eggs!

Final Note: There is a glitch that for some reason incubators will stop working if you have more than 39~40 clovers at the beggining of the day, in the case this happens switch to farming horses in the new ranches its roughly the same income per ranch or consider dropping the clover count while you fill the gaps.

Final Farm should look something like this:

@jedil1nk I liked your idea of using
Fishing Strategy
so I pushed it to the limit by simply spamming Clovers for max luck and using ALL the materials for Fishers and Lighthouses (50/50). By reaching day ~60 I've noticed an interesting pattern – the maximum amount of red squid you can get per day is actually tied to the amount of Fishers you have. So by having for example 10 of them you can ONLY get 10 red squid per day no matter how many Lighthouses you have or how high is your luck, after hitting the said limit per day you will only get usual white squid. So anyone interested in going with the Fishing strategy should take this into consideration – just keep in mind how many Fishers you have and count from time to time the amount of red squid you get — this will help you to decide whether you should increase the number of Fishers (if the amount of red squid is constantly equal to the amount of Fishers) or the number of Lighthouses / level of your Luck otherwise

I found success with the Lighthouse/Fishing strategy. Corn and geese are nice, but I found the growth of the lighthouses and the setup to be easier. It isn't very powerful early on, but grows massively later. I used corn for early game, but fishing overtook it when I couldn't keep energy production up.
Each additional farm tile requires 2 energy per day, 4/7ths of a wood and ~4/7ths of a stone and produces 64 per corn per day.
At the end of my 101 day run, I had 13 fishers and 16 lighthouses, meaning each additional of either adds an additional minimum production of more than 200 per day. At best, corn can get an additional tile every day, maybe a tile and a market or windmill which is still at best 64 additional per day, which still needs energy to be produced. At a minimum of 3.3k per day from fishing, I still needed corn to supplement, but corn simply could not keep up on its own. The giant squid and large fish help, too, pushing the average closer to 4k per day.

I appreciate the help for the secret achievement, but there is another pretty reliable way to win true epic, just use potato chip factories, they scale up to 60 coins per 10 potatoes, and as long as you use farmers, well/pump, and a weather vein (also don't get a tractor it will make it harder) you can get a lot of value.

Trying so hard to get the Golden Goose going but no matter what, my RNG is not as good as the creator. I get to day 32 and have to end it all. :steamsad:

You can save resources on the well arrangement by only leaving a 1 tile (with a well on it) buffer between pumps. For example, after your first 3x3 well with pump in the middle setup, place your next pump next to the well just to the right of the first pump. This saves you 3 wells but gives you the same daily energy refill capacity as the 'normal' config. The only catch is that you need to keep track of which pump(s) you've already used each day and be a little strategic about the order you use your wells and pumps.

Thanks for sharing these strategies. Helped me get these achievements.

The Golden Goose strategy worked great for me! Definitely takes some restarts and then some RNG to make the beginning work, but once you get it running it was an easy victory and can also be used for the 101-day achievement.

Good to know! the slot machine was nerfed (1 stone cost to 1 stone and 1 wood cost) but it really doesnt affect the strat you just have a use for wood now. A better nerf would be requiring energy to roll and halving the luck bonus of shrines.

Also the diver chest chance used to be like a 9.25% chance now I don't know yet.
Will have to do another infinite run to test.
