Mercs relationship Guide

Shows the relationship between all the mercs. The relationship effects mostly their moral, in some cases the mercs want more money or refuse to join the team. The relationship also changes over time.

Introduction

Every merc has a different relationship to each other. If a merc is in a team with a person he likes, his moral will rise by 1. If he dislikes the person his moral will fall by 1, he wants more money or he refuses to join the team compleatly. How I got the data

I simply went trying error, for around 7 hours, until I got every merc pared up with each other. I filled the result inside a chart:

grey: Neutral
black: The person itself
green: Both mercs like each other
red: Both mercs hate each other
blue: One merc likes the other
orange: One merc hates the other

I am not sure, but I think Igor dislikes Omryn/Mouse at the beginning. Because he just upped his price when I put together a second squad after first squad in Earnie. And Omryn after second squad was in field, for some reason kept giving me hard time eventually I ditched him. My first squad had IMP, MD, Mouse, Omryn and second squad had Ivan, Igor, Vicky.

In my game Fox and Meltdown were in separate squads but when I placed both squads in one sector They were mocking each other. I'm not sure if this creates negative effect.

I did not test the relationships after every patch, becaurse I think THQ would write it in the patch notes, if they would make a change. I guess it just needs more time.

Good guide.

One question though: I've had Fauda and Kalyna on the same team for a while now but haven't noticed the former starting to dislike the latter. I have seem changes like Kalyna learning to like Igor and Buns learning to dislike Reaper. So perhaps the Fauda-Kalyna fallout happens after more time, or has the recent patch removed it?

Per the same tile thing, likes and dislikes are mapwide for hiring and quitting penalties. I have two squads, one of them had fox, i hired steroid for the other squad and she jacked up her price to double quoting that she hates that 'meathead steroid'.

It seems that MD no longer dislikes Steroid and Meltdown.

The "learns to like/dislike" may be related to their righteous/pride/shame scores (the things you get when doing certain RP actions, like digging up the guns from the ernie island dead pit). But that's just speculation.
