A Guide to Mod Doom using GZDoom

Hello!

Hello again today we will be looking at how to mod Doom using GZDoom so let's dive straight in!

Ingredients(Skip This Part If You Already Have the Files)

Just like cooking a meal we need our ingredients so grab the GZDoom from this sparkly text right here[devbuilds.drdteam.org] and If you need help installing GZDoom then lemme self-plug myself with this glowing text that will take you straight to my GZDoom Guide

Now that you got all of this pick a mod you would like to play then let's go to the second section

Now Onto the Moding

It's actually really simple first we go the game directory -by default it's the location located in the picture-



Then throw the mod into the base folder and then go this directory and locate the config file





Then locate the [doom.Autoload] inside the file and put your mods name under it with the Path= just like the image below




And That's Pretty Much it when it comes to file stuff now just launch the game from this option and enjoy your mod along with steam overlay

Looks like they moved the gzdoom.ini to C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\GZDoom.
