How to play Castle Crashers with Friends!

Sometimes you need to learn how to be good at games, sometimes you need to learn the most effective methods to play

Basics!

Welcome to learning how to play with friends! I hope you enjoy this guide of learning the best ways to enjoy Castle Crashers with your friends!


You know the gameplay basics but do you know the extra secret abilities of your stats?

Strength - During PVP fights you can now deal extra damage to your friends being able to defeat them easier. Strength also makes it easier to kill enemies before your friends, giving only you the XP.
Magic - You can learn zany new magic tricks
Defense - You gain extra health and defense, allowing you outlast your friends
Agility - idk what this does but you can probably steal stuff faster from your friend idk

Remember this for when you start playing, but also don't forget your starting character!
When starting remember to spam move to get Industrialist or Fencer, it's very important that you get one of the two.
If you don't get it, oh well, you can get other cool characters such as Alien Hominid.

Map Navigation

Now that you've finally made it in, you'll be going through levels. Going left is the correct way to stall all your friends, because they can't leave without you.
"But they keep yelling at me!" you might say, well don't worry they're just idiots, go right with them until you finally reach the map!

In the map it has special areas called "Arenas", reaching them will make all your friends very happy, and also spamming the "Home" button to send you home, they'll appreciate it due to the lack of restrictions the game employs on you. Do this enough times and your friends will either, send you lots of compliments online, or will give you a nice hug with their fists in real life!

Remember, if you choose a level that you can progress in, the more funny the joke will be!

Pet Orbs + Weapons

Pet Orbs are special little animals that can help buff you in a multitude of ways, when reaching the animal shelter you will immediately want to run for Giraffey, if you don't get it then you have failed at life.

Tips on how to get Giraffey:
Increase agility
Learn where Giraffey is
Scream at your friends until they give you Giraffey
Start as a character with Giraffey already selected

You can also go directly to the desert level to get Giraffey if needed.

Weapons can be dropped by enemies or can be found in specific areas, they'll appear in the blacksmith's frog when you unlocked it, unfortunately weapons are shared by everyone and you can't steal them easily, unless it's ones not unlocked.
The highest level you need to hold any weapon is level 35, but at most you'll need is be above level 20, since any weapons that require a level higher is insane store only.
During missions you can speed up and grab any weapon if you're powerful enough. Remember to snag that really cool and powerful weapon!

Fighting Enemies/Navigating levels

Fighting enemies is the main part of the game, but there's ways to have much more fun with your friends while doing so!
You can juggle enemies out of your friends' range so you can get all the XP to yourself
Leave all the hard enemies to your friends so they can kill them, and then you can pick up all the rewards they drop
Bosses are especially powerful, as you can get tons of rewards for doing nothing at all! But if you do nothing at all you won't get as much XP, and you need XP to become better at stealing stuff from your friends.

Navigating levels is also important, but remember the faster you go the more your friends can miss out on good stuff that you may not get! After all the only thing that matters is you having fun, right?

Don't forget to look out for anything that can drop food, money, or weapons, and try to get it as fast as you can! Bonus points if you have lots of money or if you're high on health!

Another aspect of some levels are some animals you can ride, if you manage to knock the owner of the horse or camel or whatever it is, try to get on as fast as possible! You don't want your friends riding it after all, once you're on it just run away from enemies and do nothing! Your friends will appreciate you a whole lot
