How to find ACTUALLY GOOD addons!

Are you tired of going onto "Most Subscribed" or the most popular addons this week? Do you want addons that aren't the same realism addons, npc or weapon reskins, and boring unoptimized maps? Well, this is the guide for you!

1. Go through collections!

Collections are a great way to get more addons. On the front page of workshop, go to browse, and collections.



You can search "My addons" to find other peoples subscribed list, which is probably full of many maps, npcs, weapons, and more. Or, you can click on "All Time" to view the most popular of all time.

1.5. Go through your own collections!

You've probably restarted a few times in gmod. Therefore, you have a whole new set of workshop mods to work with. From previous experiences, you may have added your addons into a collection a few times. You can go through your old collections to have a rush of nostalgia and more cool mods.

2. Youtube!

NecrosVideos is a great youtuber that's super underrated. He makes videos daily, but has a somewhat tiny audience. Basically, his content is mod showcases. You can check his youtube channel everyday for a new mod to install.

BUNNYHAT is good as well. They don't upload a lot, but when they do, it's a high quality video with many addons you can install. Their most famous videos are goldmines, with 50-100 addons a video.

If you give up, just go onto youtube, and search for gmod addons. I'm sure you'll find something.

3. Last resort

ASK THE COMMUNITY. Garry's Mod has a massive community. Go onto discussions, r/gmod, hell, if you have enough followers ask them on twitter or insta. (although most of them would wonder what the hell is a guhmod.

Look around the workshop in most recent or last updated. You might find a treasure that you will use for all your time on gmod, until you die
