The Sims™ 4 - Cheat Codes Guide

This guide describes all cheat codes for The Sims 4 and how to use them.

How to enter codes for The Sims™ 4?

The first thing you need to know is, of course, information how to enter codes for The Sims™ 4.
To launch a special window on a computer, press Ctrl + Shift + C. For Mac systems, it will be CMD + SHIFT + C. After entering the command, all you need to do is press Enter to make it work.

After calling the console (white bar in the upper left corner of the screen), you must first enter "testingcheats true". This command unlocks the cheat feature.

IMPORTANT!!!
Using cheats in The Sims™ 4 disables in-game achievements, if you want to unlock in-game achievements you must start a "New Game" without using cheats.

Basic cheat codes

Before you know cheats for The Sims™ 4 for needs or money, a few of the most basic ones will come in handy:

• help - displays a list of available codes
  
• fullscreen - enables or disables fullscreen mode
  
• headlineeffects on/off - enables or disables the Plumbob above the Sims' heads
  
• resetSim FirstName LastName - resets a Sim
  
• fps on/off - shows current frame per second on screen
  
• Death.toggle true/false - toggles Sims' immortality on and off

Money cheats

What can't many gamers do without? Money, of course. Below you will find cheats for cash:

• kaching - receive 1 000 simoleons
  
• rosebud - receive 1 000 simoleons
  
• motherlode - receive 50 000 simoleons
  
• Money - type any number after the word money to receive that precise amount of dosh
  
• household.autopay_bills true/false - enables or disables monthly bill payments
  
• FreeRealEstate on/off - all houses become free (in map view)

Build Mode cheats

If you want to provide yourself with additional features that will allow you to create perfect spaces, use the selected code for The Sims™ 4. Building should go much more smoothly from now on.

• Alt button - allows you to place objects outside the grids
  
• G button - removes grids in build mode
  
• Shift + ㅤE button - allows you to place the selected object several times, without having to select it again
  
• Shift + ㅤC button - allows you to edit roofs more freely
  
• bb.moveobjects - lets you build wherever you want
  
• bb.showhiddenobjects - reveals hidden objects and lets you buy them
  
• bb.enablefreebuild - lets you build wherever you want
  
• bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement - lets you get items that are usually locked into certain careers

Satisfaction Points cheats

It is also worth mentioning about codes for satisfaction points. Each Sim has a life aspiration that, when completed, can give them new personality traits and satisfaction points. They can be exchanged for more bonuses.
To speed up the whole process, you can use the following codes:

• sims.give_satisfaction_points [X] - replace [X] with any number you want, your Sim will get that many satisfaction points
  
• aspirations.complete_current_milestone - completes the Sim's current aspirational goal

Live Mode cheats

• sims.give_satisfaction_points [X] - type any number you want, your Sim will get that many satisfaction points
  
• sims.fill_all_commodities - fulfils every motive in the household
  
• aspirations.complete_current_milestone - completes the Sim's current aspirational goal
  
• objects.consumables_infinite_toggle true - food do not end and do not spoil
  
• fillmotive motive_Bladder or Energy or Fun or Hunger or Hygiene or Social - fulfils the specified motive
  
• resetSim FirstName LastName - resets a Sim

Skill cheats

Do you want your Sim to quickly become an expert at fishing, playing the violin or painting?
To max out your Sim's skill level in any of the major skills in the game, these are the cheat codes below you'll want to use:

Career cheats

There are four main career cheats for The Sims™ 4 that will come in handy for you:

• careers.promote - your Sim gets promoted
  
• careers.add_career - your Sim gets a new career that you choose for him
  
• careers.remove_career - removes a career from your Sim
  
• careers.retire - the sim of your choice quits his job and will get a weekly pension instead

To use any of the career codes, enter a profession from the list below, for example, enter "careers.promote Painter" in the cheat console to get your sim promoted.

Relations cheats

With these last two cheats, if you want to reduce your Sims friendship or romance level with another Sim, you can also enter a lower number where it is currently 100.

• relationships.create_friends_for_sim - creates a relationship with a new sim, their friendship will start with 50% filled green stripe
  
• relationship.introduce_sim_to_all_others - instantly introduce your Sim to all their neighbors
