How to play Anky (legacy)
By El Grondinos
A guide to the fat, tanky anky we all know. This guide might be helpful, might be not. This is also my first guide, so it might be good or might be bad.

Introduction.
Ankylosaurus in real life
The Anky (ankylosaurus) was a large, armored herbivore that lived during the Cretaceous. It had a large clubbed tail used to protect itself from predators. They were quite slow, and had to eat a lot.

Ankylosaurus in The Isle
The Anky in the isle is well, an ankylosaurus. But this one is weak. It doesn't use its armor and lives with the allosaurus (its supposed to be in the jurassic period). The clubbed tail doesn't even break bones! HOW!?
Juvi stage
Sandbox dino
Anky is a sandbox dinosaur. But this doesn't stop you from playing as it on survival. I don't know how it works, but you can be nested in as an Anky and grow.

Juvi Anky
As a juvi Anky, you have horrible speed and turn rate. If you get an injection (when you get turned into a sandbox dino on survival), its best to find water and a decent amount of bushes that spawn close to the water. Why? Well, due to your lack of speed and health, you are an easy snack for any carnivore that spots you. If a juvi carnivore tries to kill you, you can probably win. You do tons of damage for a juvi, so you could most likely one shot anything smaller than a juvi giga. You also have a wacky attack hitbox, and you can use this to your advantage. But the carnivores can use your slow turn rate as an advantage; they could go onto your side and keep biting your side where you cannot reach them with your tail swing.
Once you find a water source with a decent amount of food, you still aren't safe. Not only are you weak on your sides, but you bleed out very easily. Your bleed healing rate is also garbage and so you got to be very careful. As Anky, you also tend to be VERY LOUD. Never use any roars as juvi, since this could alert any carnivores in the area where you are. If the player is very skilled (and is juvi), they could end you with ease.
Now that it is night, you got to be aware of Dilos. If your still a juvi, than Dilos are your worst nightmare. They are fast bleeders that can see at night just as well as day. If an adult Dilo finds you, your toast. They will easily ride your side or nibble you a few times and run away. If your also sub (fresh adult), it takes only a few hits to kill an adult Dilo. If your still a fresh juvi or somewhere close to that, then you MUST run and hide (somehow). Now, simply just getting to sub takes very long, so you might have to fight a lot.

Combat
As a juvi Anky, it takes ages to simply get to sub. You'll also need to know what you can take down (+) and what you can't (-).

-Dilo. Stay away from these things as juvi. If you're almost at sub, then you still have to watch out for these guys. One hit could bring you to 2nd screen then you could bleed out. Don't sit when fighting these guys. If you do, they will charge towards you and kill you.

+Carno. These guys can barley take a hit from you. Depending on your growth or the Carno's growth, you one hit these lightning bolts. They can very easily avoid your tail swings, and ride your side, but they also do poor damage to you.

=Giga. These guys I'm not to sure about. They have much more health than you, but do slightly less damage. They are about the same speed as you. In a 1v1, you would win. Juvi Gigas have large hitboxes, making them easy to hit.

+Sucho. Sucho are very strange when it comes to combat. But as juvies, they are the thing you worry about the least. They can't really tank much, depending on their growth. They are also very slow, but not slow enough for you to catch up to.

+Rex. As a juvi, Rex is nothing to worry about. They have decent damage and speed, but not in health. Yeah, they could maybe take a few tail swings, but 3 or 4 should knock em out.
Sub/Adult stage
Sub
Great job! You've reached the hardest part of your life. Now that you are a freshie/fresh adult, you are even more tastier to carnivores. By this point, I wouldn't be suprised if you died. Due to the lack of health and speed you have, plus turn radius, large carnivores like Rex and Giga will target you and eat you for lunch. In order to survive, you should continue doing like when you were a juvi. Stay near water with bushes that spawn nearby. If you are male, you could sit in water, as you have blue scales on the top. As female, you would look like a giant rock.
If you are bitten by something with good bleed, like Dilo or Sucho, don't run as this will only make the bleeding worse. Try and stand your ground and fight back. You never know for sure if you will win or not. If its something much bigger, then maybe you should run. Any Rex or Giga would kill you in a few hits.

Adult
This is where you are much better in everything. You are now a mid tier herbivore with a large attack hitbox and can tank lots of hits. If you have a friend with you, now you are even more powerful. Most low tiers would not mess with you, unless they are very stupid. One hit and it is game over for them. Some mid tiers would be daring enough to fight you. And they would be very good or very bad. If the person is very good, then you should try not to expose your front to them. They could very easil get 1 or 2 hits on your head and run. If it is a Sucho, or a mid tier that does good bleed, then try to move as less as possible. You don't want to lose all your growth now, do you?
As for your food and water, it doesn't matter if you lose lots of food or not. Your water drains very quickly and this isn't good. You are slow, and might die of thirst if you are not near any bodies of water. Try and stay near lakes or ponds that don't have much people going around. If you are in a herd, you are most likely to die first. You are slow, and will be last. Thats a warning.

Combat
Combat
Combat as Anky can be very stressful. As you may know by now, nearly anything could bleed you out. You also don't have the best turn radius. Any good apex players could easily wipe you off the face of the earth.

-Allo. Allo isn't to bad. It is much much faster than you, but is also much much less healthy. Two hits is enough to put an Allo to sleep, but a few bites into you and your doomed.

-Carno. Easy task. One hit and this guy is dead. There is no way you could die to a Carno. They are very fast, but they don't do a lot of damage to you. Even bleed for Carno is ass.

-Alberto. This guy, it gets a little serious. Its like a Rex, but faster and doesn't break bones. Just like the Rex, its bleed isn't so good. It obviously cannot bleed you to death, unless it got you off guard, but otherwise Alberto is nothing much to worry about.

-Sucho. Just a slower Alberto but with lots of bleed. Suchos are fast enough to outrun you (barley) and because of this, they will try to; 1.Get some hits on you and keep on moving, trying to bleed you to death. 2. Do hit and runs. If they do this, then they are obviously not a good player.

-Cera. Its just like Carno, but slower. Its even more easy. But this time, Cera has a good turn radius. It could easily ride your side, but with your wacky attack hitbox, you will most likely hit it.

-Acro. Acro may be big, but hell, its really weak. What makes it dangerous though, is its bleed and speed. I think the Acro can OUTWALK you in a race. These guys are a nono. Try and stay away from them, as they could make light work of you.

-Rex. Rex is just like Acro. Its a S T A Y A W A Y creature. It can break your bones, and inflict massive damage to you. It also has one of the biggest attack hitboxes. Its so big, you can snipe. If you try and fight back, there is a slim chance you will win.

-Giga. These guys are one of your worst nightmares. They're faster, and inflict MASSIVE amounts of bleed. They also do great damage. You just don't want to mess around with a Giga.

-Spino. Spino is one I'm not to sure about. Although, its very tanky and could take in many hits from you. But you, not much. It also has one of the best turn radius out of all the apexes. It doesn't do much, but it does a lot of damage because of its very fast bite speed. Its attack hitbox is also very small.

The End
