Bells and Hard Mode

Hard mode will have the twins be empowered, elite waves spawn more often and you can not revive dead teammates. The twins will attack faster and be more resistant to damage and stagger. Elites spawn more often

you will hit the bells 3/5/4/1/3/9/7 times for 1/2/3/4/5/6/7
upon ringing each bell the correct amount of times, a sound effect will be played (like a distant noise, sort of a thumming). Only one person needs to ring the bell, and the teleport shortcut can be done on any difficulty. Only works in private mode (credit Chi)

Upon ringing all bells, the current run will be hard mode and if you finish the mission subsequent runs will have the bell for hard mode at the start of the map. Immediately after spawning, on the left a little up ahead will be an altar/table with two bells. the bell on the left is a boss teleport, the bell on the right is a boss teleport with hard mode enabled.
the bells at the beginning need everyone in the group to ring the same bell to activate and will teleport the group to the end event

Rinda takes more ranged damage on her shield, Rodin takes more melee damage on his shield

Green on the left is boss teleport, Yellow on the right is hard mode boss teleport, which only appears on damnation

Bell Hit Order

Immediately after the gas room on the wall is the order in which you hit the bells

Bell 1

When you first start, go up the cat walk, enter the first door way, turn right into the second door way and its right behind you.

Hit this bell 3 times

Bell 2

In the area where you first fight Rinda, to the right of where she spawns

Hit this bell 5 times

Bell 3

In the same area you first fight Rodin, on the right side of the lower platform and towards where the gas clouds are

Hit this bell 4 times

Bell 4

Just after Rodin fight, once you ascend the stairs, cross the bridge and go into the next building. Beside the fallen debris-ramp just before dropping

Hit this bell 1 time

Bell 5

In the area with the second Rinda fight. on the left side just past where the gas starts.

Hit this bell 3 times

Bell 6

Just before the first Rodin + Rinda fight. taking a right immediately after leaving the area for the second Rinda fight, turning left with the bend, entering the market(?) area and taking a right immediately.

Hit this bell 9 times

Bell 7

In the loot room just before entering the finale, off to the left near the staircase where you would normally go up

you can fairly consistently sustain and stay alive during rinda, if rodin is also alive it is still doable but much more tedious and difficult because you will have to wittle both shields down to less than 1000 hp and try to time the break.
personally the best ive done against both is dealing 35k damage to rodin to kill him, and 65k damage to rinda to kill her

@djneffii it shouldnt matter as far as i know, but apparently you can only use teleport in private game now which has been a recent change so it might be something that can only be done in private as well. difficulty would not matter though

I just found out you can't do it solo... cause the freakin penance is supposed to be done in PRIVATE GAMES... fk sake. thanks for this guide anyways.

@Лжец it should still work, the only issue ive experienced lately is the aforementioned bell teleport not working. but the map could be generally bugged too

I've tried to do this several times
I hit these stupid bells, kill the boss, but the achievement doesn't give out((

I tried hitting the teleport bell but I was alone with bots and it didn't work. Can you not do it solo?
