Townscaper Floating Fortresses: Quick and Easy

The snappy guide to making floating fortresses in TownScaper.

Step 1: Location, Location, Location

Floating Fortresses have to be built in a very specific area. One that produces either a perfect circle shape or a hexagonal shape. If it has star patterns in it, you can't build one there.



All you gotta do is look around and place tiles. You'll find that circular shape eventually.

Step 2: Make it float

Build the base of your fortress, like this:





Once you have a base set up, delete the bottom layer.





Bam! Floating fortress!

Step 3: Finishing touches

If you wanna make your floating fortress into a FLYING fortress. That's easy. At the floating base you just made, build a tower going straight up. Make it as high as you want your fortress to be.

Be sure to delete those towers when you're done. Otherwise your floating fortress won't have the neat little propeller things.




Presto! A floating fortress, made by you!
You can shape it up as much as you want, but remember to keep it within the original circular shape, otherwise it'll spawn those ugly scaffolds.
