Broom control improvement

Can't beat the broom races with the default settings? Broom clunkier than a toddler with a walker? Beyond done with Imelda sneering at you? Try these settings.

Settings adjustment

Try the following adjustments as shown in the picture below.

Go to the settings menu and choose Gameplay Options.

Turn Camera Acceleration to 0.

Turn Follow Camera Speed to max (1.5).


I also adjusted Camera Sensitivity to max (2), but this might be too much depending on your preferences.

Aiming acceleration turned to 0 might also help.

That's it, that's the guide. This helped me win the broom races, and hopefully it will help you too. (For info, I use mouse and keyboard; not sure if players using controllers will also find this useful.)

Extra tips for the broom races:
1. Try to hit at least one bubble between each hoop/circles.
2. Boost when not powered by the bubbles.
3. In the final race, you can omit the third hoop from the finish line for a penalty of 3 seconds. When flying up from the chasm/bridge, fly directly across the stream and building, make a sharp left and hit that second-last hoop. The game will warn you that you're leaving the course, but you rejoin it in time. I found it easier to fly in a straight line and aim left, and take the time penalty, rather than steer right to get that hoop, then left. This only works if you've hit all the other hoops in the course and are under time enough that you can take the time penalty.

idk what the default for the descend and ascend are for the broom, but I have have it as Z and X
