Your search for the Sons of the Forest NEW Rifle location starts over in the same cave that holds the Golden Armor.[mmo-wiki.com] It’s in the large cave system found under the main mountain. It seems like there are a couple of entrances to the cave and we’ve put the Rifle at these Cave Entrances.[mmo-wiki.com]

Once you’ve found the cave system you can follow the route shown in the video below. You will need a re-breather[mmo-wiki.com] to navigate the underwater part of the cave safely.

The Rifle is a high-powered hunting weapon, with a 1X optic meant for accuracy. It shoots the new Rifle bullets that can be found throughout the map and the various caves.
