The Purple Guy, known as the "purple man," is a human, male, and his clothes are purple.

Purple Guy has a height and weight, and his skin tone is various shades of purple or pink (depending on the appearance in the mini-game). He is also sometimes depicted as a security guard wearing a yellow logo on his chest, presumably a badge. Until Five Nights at Teddy Bear III came out, he retained a consistent look. His expressive eyes and mouth can easily express his emotional state because Purple Guy does not speak and has only appeared in the novel series outside of the mini-game, his story is mostly through silent action, or by reading between the lines throughout the game. He has a patchwork of phone messages and Five Nights at Teddy Bear posters in the mini-game, and the community has been able to discover a lot of hidden information about Purple Guy.

The Purple Guy's name is William Afton. Purple Guy's next story

It is speculated that Purple Guy eventually escaped Golden Freddy's hell and possessed a game AI. (As an aside, the game is owned by Face Bear Entertainment, a company called Purple Guy.) The game AI, originally a fun character representing Purple Guy, accidentally became the "real Purple Guy," called Glitch Trap. So far, Giltch Trap's motives are unknown, but he seems to be controlling humans and turning them into puppets. Purple Guy's story is not over, and needs to be explored as the game continues to develop
