Hate The New Steam UI? doesnt work anymore cause steam ♥♥♥♥♥♥ us....

how about using the old one?

1-Locate the Steam Shortcut
2-Right click on the Steam Shortcut
3-In the Popup menu click on "Proprieties"
4-The box that has "Target" at the start (below target location) click on the box and go to the end by pressing the right arrow key to make sure your on the far right
5-Press space-bar and type -vgui
it should look something like this steam.exe" -vgui
6-At the bottom of the window press Apply
7-Restart Steam
tiny side note. this will only alter that one steam link. if you access steam other ways, it will be back to normal

This is the only alternative I've found out working thus far.

But technically it's a downgrade to Steam 's previous version that didn't had this new eye candy, resource hog UI (User Interface) that's being imposed upon us all (without the chance to use the "-vgui" as we previously did).
