Hall of Heroes Guide

Guide to lighting the hero statues and unlocking the Tower of the Time.

Locations

The Hall of Heroes is in the most South West corner of the Varaskel map.

Down the Eastern side of the map is the dried river bed of the Old Varnalo Gorge, here you'll find scrolls with hints for the colours scattered throughout the gorge next to skeletons of some alcolytes who died in a great flood.

Hints

There are 6 scrolls with hints, they refer to groups of heroes and note a colour associated with each. The gist is that there are:

• 1 Titan (red)
  
• 4 Kings (red)
  
• 2 Monks/Priests (red)
  
• 4 Unarmed Captains (green)
  
• 4 Two Handed Warriors (green)
  
• 6 Warriors (yellow/gold)

There are 21 satues in the Hall of heroes, with a biograpy for each and a candle you need to toggle to the correct colour.

I found it easiest to work through in groups.

• The Titan is obviously the big one at the back
  
• The Kings have crowns
  
• The Captains are unarmed
  
• The Monk & Priest are identified in their biographies (they're near the middle)
  
• The two handed warriors have big two handed weapons
  
• The regular warriors are the rest.

Thank you. I hate this sort of puzzle which is the sort of thing that makes me want to give up on a game: especially as I am a bit red/green colour blind

ugggh this is dumb. I got it 90% right, i just had Daniel the Giant Killer, and Chieftain Nargok, swapped. Since daniel's biography mentions nothing about him holding any title of nobility, and chieftain is at least a leader of some sort.

why do so many people buy food? go east of this place and find 2 days worth of food in fruit on trees, yes seriously. i haven't bought food since early game

Thanks for the guide, until this point - I felt the game always gave enough information to solve the puzzles on your own, but with this - there's too much that doesn't make sense.
