PAYDAY 2 doesn't launch without the spyware

heh, what sad me a little bit, 3400 hrs with 1000 hrs helping and teaching new players going to the dumpster

@TioRast I'm no longer buying DLCs but I'm not surprised the slightest though. They do this constantly with the new DLCs, usually they add brand new weapons with "above-average stats" to encourage people to buy the DLCs. Then time later they drop an update that balances these weapons by lowering their stats to fit with the othe ones again. And the cycle continues endlessly this way with every single DLC they drop, I have been seeing this for ages.

Another thing, one of the MCshay dlc´s was hinden buff behind wall for Car-4 / AK weapon types since seeing thoses stats getting up with little debuffs on top, makes you wonder even more

Tobias, Almir Listo and David Goldfarb are well known liars, for years, this is not the first, the second, the third, or the fourth time that these guys say something and then proceeds to do the opposite right after. Covering lies with more lies to hide their controversial decisions and buy time to keep the community under control to prevent a massive outrage. It happened with the microtransactions, it happened with the stats-boosted weapon skins (which they denied over and over until they finally implemented it ingame) it happened with the DLCs as well "No more DLCs after the ultimate edition", it happened with the Linux community, and now it happened with this last update. There is a long historical record of their lies all over the place

@TioRast yeah I agree, they messed up with time by removing the distance filtering as well. This is also being reported by many players, matches now have terrible latency and players with 200-400 ping.

I really love this game, I have been playing it since the early PlayStation 3 versions when there was only 4 characters, few heists, and not a single DLC, that was around the 2015 era. Unfortunately ain't gonna play it again till we found a way to nullify this EOS.

No more spyware on my computer, i don´t care if this quick fix they did solved a little ploblem, that biggest L and the fact they din´t bringed back distance filter it just BS, thx AEON for this picture

@TioRast Same dilemma here, my experience with this muddy studio tells me that they aren't going revert any of this, no matter how vocal the reaction against is. They're professional liars and they just care about money (and not in the regular understandable fashion) they're extremely despicable drooling for money that they could sell their own mothers without a single bit of remorse.

My only hope left is on the hands of the modders of this community to release some short of countermeasure to totally nullify this spyware or to give us an alternative "master-server list" out of the hands of this Epic-EOS spyware. The problem now is that seems the game requires this EOS.dll archive to be able to run, only hope is under the modders hands to do some short of genius workaround to bypass this crapware or straight nuke it into oblivion and make the game to run back again without this EOS dependency.

In the meantime, better to not run the game or straight just delete it from your computer.
