you get good decent combos with no effort and it let's you react to stuff that would normally take a good reaction time with the reaction time of a 4 year old
play the real game and learn how to do motion inputs

LOL as a Modern user I LOVE this, I actually was like why are they saying we are scrubs, funny thing is I use Modern on Honda and Blanka, I really need to switch to classic especially for them but this was my first fighting game I took really serious, and actually played ranked, not just beat up on the AI lol, and tekken 8 too, and even tho I LOVE Tekken, their attempt at "Modern Controls" which is called special stance, is TRASH, it is NOTHING like modern and is truly a scrub thing, but Modern doesnt give any real significant advantage

Modern controls is a blessing honestly because it forced me to get good at the game. The input difference really doesnt matter because you should also be able to play that fast if youre "good".
