Election Day 101 Schooling Session
Why Election Day?

Election Day is a very fun heist, that's been used for quite sometime due to its lucrative stealth bonus, however it's also always given quite a bit of experience if you know what to do, and has recently become even better for experience due to the changes to money and gold XP.
For around 2 minutes of in game time, It gives nearly 2m XP, which is absolutely fantastic in conjunction with its 20% stealth boost.

It's certainly not the easiest map to learn though, as its very information heavy. How the containers, trucks and pc work in day one, all the spawn rules for crates and the large list of possible crowbar spawns for day two...

It can feel very complicated, but this guide is here to make it easier for you and provide you with an in-depth explanation on every facet of this heist, and to turn you into a tagging and crowbar finding pro!

Heist Information and Goals:

Day 1 (Right Track):
Tag the correct truck and escape.

Day 2 (Swing Vote):
Find and hack 6 ballot machines hidden among the crates and escape.
(Optionally secure additional money and gold)

Due to how information dense this guide has to be, the bonus information for each goal will be provided in its own sections.

Day 1 (Right Track)
The goals for everyone in this heist are to tag the correct truck and then leave. Sounds simple right? It can be, but sometimes it can be very complicated. Lets simplify things for now to things every role needs to know, before moving onto the specifics for tagging and PC in a later section.

Here's some general things that apply to everyone:
  • You are responsible for one area or set of containers that you have to check.
  • Don't check other peoples unless they miss them.
  • If one spawns open, type the abbreviation of the color in chat, ie: "r" for red container open.
  • Jump before starting to type to preserve momentum while typing.
  • If you see 4 colors called in chat, check your sections containers to try to figure out which one has posters in them, unless you are the person with PC or tagger (excluding the two very easy to see containers near the trucks)

For more in-depth explanations on how containers function, how to figure out the correct truck, please see the "Truck and Containers Explanation" section. For an in-depth explanation of how to use the PC and locate the correct company as one of the two PC roles, please see the "PC Explanation" section.

What is this section?
As with this guide and all future guides, we will use this section to specify ecm order, what equipment changes from the usual, what skills might be different from the default skills set, and to link back to the main guide that all of this is referencing. Unfortunately we don't have a main hub guide yet to reference, we will soon!

Ecm Order:
Starts with blue because Host has to SSW, and everyone else may not have ecms by this point. This heist takes 30 seconds normally so it's unlikely to need more than two ecms but host can do some after if needed.

Hosting and Preplanning info:
Nothing is needed on this heist.

Weapon Changes:
Green: Standard, unless using Lock n' Load, in which case they can bring an Igor Automatik to move faster at the start, move faster after throwing molotovs, throw them faster and move faster after tagging the truck (due to the equip speed being fast with equilibrium). They likely will kill less guards so this isn't too much a bother.
Blue: Standard, but with any pistol secondary (Preferably AP pistol so they don't have to switch for the next day of the heist). This makes them able to move faster and ecm faster after spawning, therefore check their side faster.
Red: Standard. Grimm will be needed to kill the many guards they encounter as fast as possible, and primary won't be used.
Yellow: Standard. Grimm will be needed to kill the many guards they encounter as fast as possible, and primary saw may be needed for one of the pc room to be opened.

Skill changes:

Trucks and Containers Explanation
Figuring out the correct truck:

There are two things involved with tagging the correct truck that you need to understand and keep note of, the color of the truck and the company of the truck. The company of the truck is one of the four names written on the truck on the side: Avalon, Kranich, Hefty and Omni Exports.

Lets understand the ground rules for which truck is the correct one first:
  1. There are 6 trucks total, only one of them is the correct one.

  2. The correct truck cannot share the same company name with another truck.

  3. The correct one can share a color with an incorrect one.

  4. There will always be two sets of two different company names.

And now for some base rules about containers:

  1. Any open container that is Red, Green, Blue, or Yellow, excludes the correct truck from being that color. (See rule 2 and 3)

  2. There will always be at least 3 different uniquely colored containers spawned on the map for you to find everytime.

  3. There is a very low chance that the cargo in an open container has election posters inside them. This means that instead of the truck not being that color, it is guaranteed to be that color instead.

  4. If there are poster containers, they will be accompanied by having all 4 uniquely colored containers open on the map.

Putting all the tips together:

With all that information available there are a few things that we can extrapolate from all that:

The game will always give you enough information to narrow it down to one color via the colors typed in chat and the ones you see on your path, if you do not receive the full information that means someone missed. This doesn't mean that you'll get a free tag everytime however.

There are 4 possibilities for tagging if you get all information properly:

  1. If the remaining color has only one truck, then you can tag it instantly.

  2. If the remaining color has two trucks, you'll have to try to exclude one of them out by seeing if any of the other 4 trucks share a company with one of them. The correct truck will be the one that doesn't share a name with any of the other trucks.

  3. If excluding them fails because they're both unique and don't share a company name with any of the remaining trucks, then you need pc to confirm which one it is. Type down which ones it can be in chat to help the PC players deduce which one it is for you ie: "Omni or Ava". Depending on which ones you called they'll have to hack once, twice, or all three times. Once they get back to you in chat ie: "Ava", then you have to tag that one.

  4. In the rare event that 4 unique colors are said in chat/observed by you, this means that one of them has posters inside of them, signifying which one it has to be. This can be the same as any of the three of the scenarios, a free tag due to only one truck being the poster color, one you have to deduce on due to multiple being that color, and one you'll need PC on due to multiple being that color and neither sharing a company with another truck. However you won't know until someone finds out which container has postes in it, so assume its the worst case scenario and begin deducing to the 50/50 chance while you wait for posters and callout which two companies PC needs to pick from.

Another note relating to rare poster cargo rng:
Do not simply wait for someone to find the posters container, as theres still a chance that you need PC with that, you must work on deducing them while waiting. Prepare for the worst case, always!

Examples:
With all this in mind you may have the info but not the experience necessary to be able to tag the correct truck so here are some mock scenarios for you to try to figure out which the correct one is! I'll post a picture with what was said in chat or seen by you, then a spoiler tag with the answer and an explanation of how it was gotten. Try yourself before clicking on the answer!

RGB

Answer: Yellow Hefty in the bottom right corner. All other colors were ruled out and only one yellow truck was there.

RYG

Answer: Blue Avalon in the top left corner. All other colors were ruled out, and one of them shared a company (Hefty) with another one of them, therefore the remaining blue was correct.

RBY

Answer: Type, "Omni or Ava" in chat, then tag which green it was based off of if they say omni or ava back in chat at you. All other colors were ruled out, but neither of the trucks share a company with any other of the other trucks, therefore both 50/50 trucks you can deduce to from the start spawned on the same color.

RGBY + "It's blue"

Answer: Type, "Kran or Omni" in chat, then tag which blue the correct truck is based off of what PC says back to you in chat. Whether or not blue was called as posters in this case didn't change anything, both blue were still the 50/50 chance trucks it could have been. This does happen, and its a reminder that when its poster rng, never wait for the color callout to start deducing!

Now that tagging is sufficiently covered, lets move onto how the PC role works.

PC Explanation
How the PC works:

There are 6 unique spawn locations for the PC on this heist, with only one spawning in any given run. With that being said lets go over the three rules of the PC and what they mean:

  1. The PC will always display 1 company per interaction, up to 3 interactions, where it loops again.
  2. The PC shows incorrect companies only.
  3. The PC will always try to show you the companies in this order: Avalon, Kranich, Omni, Hefty.

Given this information, there are a few more things we can extrapolate from the rules. If you hack it all 3 times, whichever company didn't show up has to be the correct one, but theres more optimizations than just that.

You won't always have to do 3 hacks to figure out which is the right one, because you can use deduction to find out early, given the tagger gives you some information to work with.

Say the tagger says in chat that its either "Ava or Omni", then the first hack you see says Avalon, in this case, since it only shows incorrect companies, you can safely skip the rest of the hacks and tell them to tag Omni! This works to save time, however there are some situations where you'll still have to do all 3 pc hacks, but why?

Understanding the order:
Rule 3 states that the PC always tries to show the companies in a specific order, but how does it do so when it can only show 3 out of the 4 companies? It simply skips the correct company to tag. Here's what it will always look like when each company is the correct one to tag:

Avalon: The pc displays Kranich, then Omni, then Hefty.

Kranich: The PC displays Avalon, then Omni, then Hefty.

Omni: The PC displays Avalon, then Kranich, then Hefty.

Hefty: The PC displays Avalon, then Kranich, then Omni.

How this helps and how it doesn't:

This helps you by allowing you to know instantly if the correct company is Avalon on the first hack (if it skips it), know if its Kranich on the second hack (if its skipped), but doesn't help you at all in picking the correct company if its Omni or Hefty, because you'll have to do a third interaction anyway to know which one is skipped, which is the same as just interacting with it fully 3 times.

The main benefit to this is determining the company faster in some cases, without any information needed from the tagger.

With that being said we can update the above example of each company to how it will look with your newlyfound knowledge:

Avalon: The pc displays Kranich, and because it skips Avalon, you know that Avalon is correct.

Kranich: The PC displays Avalon, then Omni, and because it skips Kranich, you know that Kranich is correct.

Omni: The PC displays Avalon, then Kranich, then Hefty. Omni is the only one remaining.

Hefty: The PC displays Avalon, then Kranich, then Omni. Hefty is the only one remaining.

Given all this information, the best case scenario is always that the company is Avalon, or that tagger says "Ava or X" in chat, with the worst case being that the tagger says "Omni or Hefty", because you know thats a guaranteed 3 interactions of PC before you can go.

With all this information you should now be able to deal with the PC and find out the correct company as soon as possible!

Role call!

As suggested by the equipment section above, we will simplify and equate each color to one of the roles. Technically Green could do Far Right side and vice versa, same with the saw roles swapping, and you can make those adjustments on your own, but this guide will be going forward with the assumption that you will be doing "the usuals" for the heist, and don't want to role call every time you do a rush.

Remember, if you have an issue with the role or don't know how to do it much, you can always ask to swap on your own accord, but it should be an exception, not the standard, to call roles like that.

So with that out of the way, we'll be going with this:

Green = SSW + Tagger
Blue = Far Right
Red = Far Left + Small Warehouse PC
Yellow = Spawn + Mid + Big Warehouse PC

And now we move onto an in depth look at the roles themselves:
SSW + Tagger
As SSW + Tagger your goal is to SSW at the start of the heist to lower your HP to a minimum, observe and note the containers open that are on your path while killing guards, deduce which color of the truck it is as determined by which colors are called in chat and the ones you see, assist the PC in determining which company the truck is under if needed, tag the correct truck, and then run back to extract.

This isn't simple to do and we'll go onto the specifics of tagging and how to deduce towards the later part of this section, but for now lets go through a complete rundown of what your role does.

You'll spawn, then throw 2 molotov's (1 once you have Frenzy aced) at the start behind the gate, and burn yourself to as low as you possibly can without killing yourself, this provides SSW to the rest of the team and gives them a chance to gather enough information, while also making sure your run to the trucks, and especially back from the trucks is as fast as possible.

After sufficiently burning yourself, you'll run through the gate into what should be an area mostly cleared of guards, and head into the path between the rows of crates on the left and check your first 3 containers while running through them.
After moving through that area, you'll turn left towards the large warehouse and see your next container. Be careful though, there are many guards in this area and if some are still there and alive, you need to shoot them.
After cleaing up any remaining guards you head straight towards your final crate area.
After that, you'll proceed to the trucks where you will deduce the correct one and tag it.
After tagging you have to run back to spawn, which has now activated as the escape zone, and there are two alternate paths to running back that are more efficient depending on what spawns.

If the white container above the forklift and boxes doesn't spawn, then you can jump up the crates and onto the container to shortcut back to the escape area. Always take this if its available, as its by far the fastest path.

If the white container that blocks the fastest path does spawn, then the next fastest path back if through the ground floor white container if it is open.
If neither are available, simply run back to spawn with the same path you took to get over there, you're done!

Tips:
  • One thing that can help a lot is saying the remaining colors out loud. Once two are seen or tagged you can say out loud or in your head, "Need x or y" while you're heading to tag, then the second y is typed you can say "need to be x".
  • The same above tip applies to the companies as well, once you get there you can say "x or y" spot for another x or y, then say "two x, needs to be y". Not sure if this will really help but its how bunni and chichi do it and it helps them process it.

  • Don't type your colors in chat, keep them in your head mentally.
  • Kill guards. You will die if you don't.
  • Don't wait for PC, it's very rare that you need it and you can always deduce further to help narrow down the company options, but mostly, you rarely ever need PC, 90+% of the time you can handle it yourself with just the three colors.
Far Right

Your goal will to be to check the right side of the map in order to call out all right side open container colors, all the while keeping SW uptime and placing ecms!

Firstly, as soon as you spawn in you may start moving, but above all else, place your first ecm quickly, your team will be shooting guards and getting spotted. If your ecm is not placed instantly, your ED is at risk of a restart! Try jumping off of the spawn location and starting the ecm placement in air to prevent timeloss from placing while not moving, but be careful to look straight down while you do it, otherwise you may miss your ecm.

Then you will proceed forward, and begin to check your crates at the first area.

Proceed forward while swapping to your Judges, and up onto the raised concrete portion on the left, then further up onto the blue pallets, then onto the actual crates, to get a vantage point on the remaining crates and the guard that you have to kill. You will need to start second winding around this time due to SSW from tagger running out.

After typing your containers from the vantage point and killing the guard, head back to escape the same way you came, clearing out any remaining guards, and second winding the whole way there. You'll be the first person back usually so just place your last ecm once you get there, and SW until everyone arrives, you're done!

Tips:
  • Kill the guard, no one else will and he will kill you.
  • Double and triple check that you can see each container and if they're open from on the vantage point, as you have the time to and it can be tricky while you're standing on them.
  • Be aware of poster rng, and check your containers if 4 colors are called.
  • Don't forget your SW or 2nd ecm, host will always be back later than you and you will always be the first back.
Far Left + Small Warehouse PC

As Far Left + Small Warehouse PC your goal is to open the gate, kill all the guards along the way, callout the colors of the open containers in your section, then head to the small warehouse that houses two PC spawn locations and check both, interact with your PC (if it spawns there) as needed and run back to escape.

After initially spawning head forward into the main compound, the gate may or may not be open already so be prepared to deal with it if it isn't, clear out the guards along your path, then take the first left through the path between containers, where host will go, and clear out the guards there as you progress through it. There are three containers that may be open here, but they are ones the host will check, so don't bother typing them.

Once you hit the end of that area you turn left and start to check the first three containers that you're responsible for, all while clearing out the guards. Refrain from typing the colors at this point as this role.

After this you head right into the far corner area of the map near the entrance to the small warehouse, and check for final container, and type the total of all colors you saw along the way.

Once you finish typing the colors you saw along the way, head into the warehouse through the door closest to you and head up the staircase to check the first PC spawn location on your side, if it isn't there, break the window and jump down directly under the first PC room to see your second and final PC spawn location.

In any case with the PCs being on your side, immediately begin the interaction and gather information as necessary using the company names displayed to you on the PC screen, the information the tagger gives you and the information you learned in the "PC Explanation" section.

Once you learn what is needed and type the correct company to the tagger, OR they start interacting with the truck, immediately stop interacting with the PC and head out of the warehouse the way you came.

In any case with the PC not being on your side, or in the case that you finished using the PC for information needed, head back the way you came to spawn and stand in extract, you're done!

Tips:
  • Kill every guard you see, a down loses two players 6 seconds of time, going out of your way to kill one guard loses you less than a second.
  • Pay attention to the tagger to spot when they're interacting ASAP, so that you won't show up late, also never show up last!
  • Be aware of poster rng, and check your containers if 4 colors are called, unless you have PC.
Spawn + Mid + Large Warehouse PCs

As Spawn + Mid + Large Warehouse PCs your goal is to open the gate, kill all the guards along the way, callout the colors of the open containers in your sections, then head to the large warehouse that houses four PC spawn locations and check all four, interact with your PC (if it spawns there) as needed and run back to escape.

After initially spawning, first check the two containers at spawn that are both part of your section.

After checking them head forward into the main compound, the gate may or may not be open already so be prepared to deal with it if it isn't, clear out the guards along your path, then head straight, and check the containers that are yours in this section along the way. This entire first big open area houses 6 of your containers, with 3 being at the start, and 2 being later in the mid path.

Once you hit the end of that area you turn left and check your final container, then head forward to clean up guards as you move into the big warehouse.

Once you finish some guard cleanup, head straight into the big warehouse and begin walking up the staircase on the left, while doing so look to see if the two bottom floor PC spawn rooms contain the PC, then continue up the stairs if they don't have them, and head into the final two rooms to check for the PC, but be warned, the second room can be locked and require a saw to open it!

Important Knowledge & Loud Escape
Crate Spawning Mechanics
For each role, there is a fixed number of crate that can spawn in any given area. This makes the whole process easier and faster to make sure you're not double checking when there is nothing and can also help you realize if you are missing crates or if you're done early. All of this information follows the numbers on the next two pictures.

For example, in the first room of Left Left, there is 1 to 2 crates that can spawn in any given runs, but there is a total of 4 possible spawns. Another example, for the entire Upstairs area, there will always be 2 crates that spawn, with a total of 6 possible spawns.

Cover
Even though all heisters are assigned one role, a lot of teamplay is required to complete the heist. The first priority is to hack all 6 crates. Therefore, when you are done with your section, it is imperative that you go help your teammates. There are a few different things to consider in order to do this more efficiently.
  • When you are going to someone else's area, you should type it to inform the team to let them know you are already helping that section, by typing "out" if you're going out after you're done with your area.
  • Pay attention to the crowbars of your teammates, if one of them doesn't have a crowbar, then they need help.
  • Following the last point, if one of your teammates gets a late crowbar, then they probably also need help.
  • Some roles are longer than others. For example, it often makes sense for Left Left to go Out after they're done with Left Left (assuming everyone had crowbars early) because that role is usually faster than Upstairs.

Loud XP Trick
In order to gain the additional XP that going loud on this heist gives you, while maintaining the 20% stealth bonus, we perform something that's called the Loud XP Trick. The host should do this due to having no delay when causing this to happen and it being more consistent overall.

This strategy is designed to control the timing of loud to go off just before you escape from the heist.

Once blues second ecm starts getting lower, host should begin making their way over to an outside window and place the ecm on a window (preferably on one of the trucks windows outside) and prepare to break the glass with your equipped HE Judges. Wait until the last machines timer goes from 10 seconds remaining to 9 seconds, and then shoot said window with your judges to make the ecm break, and let the pagers go off.

Once that is done you run to the side of the van that touches the side of the elephants bonus loot truck to remain outside of the escape zone. Wait until just after you hear the static and "That's the alarm guys" sound start to play and immediately step into the escape zone. If you did this successfully you'll activate the loud XP bonus while retaining the stealth boost.

Here's an quick example of it being done:

Remember a few key things about this though:

  • Better to break late than to break early. You can delay going into the escape zone longer if you shoot late but you can't do anything other than witness your stealth bonus disappear if you shoot the glass early.
  • Always go into the escape zone after the line starts. You don't get the loud XP just from the line playing, but specifically from the line playing before you activate escape.

And for teamwide tips that apply to the people not performing this trick:

  • Anyone can and should ecm on the window if needed. Perhaps the host got crowbar late, or maybe they have a ton of machines, or are covering. Use your head and contribute to the team, don't run around doing nothing if you don't have a crowbar, at least contribute to the ecming on the window.
  • Stand directly in the escape, preferably in the van, and do not attempt to secure gold in this version of loud escape.
  • Don't make noise during the manual escape timing. Let them perform it peacefully with full range of hearing. If they mess up because you activated ecm feedback, thats on you, not them.

All of that is to say, just don't troll your host.

Crowbar call-outs
In order to help your teammates, you can type some letters to inform your teammates of crowbars that have spawned and that aren't taken.
  • S : Crowbar in stairs on the side of the player that typed it.
  • R : One of the three railings on right side.
Crowbar Pathing - Left Side
This is the recommended path for left side crowbars.
If you do not find a crowbar, feel free to check back up crowbars or right side's crowbars.

Crowbar Pathing - Right Side
This is the recommended path for right side crowbars.
If you do not find a crowbar, feel free to check back up crowbars or left side's crowbars.
Bonus Crowbars
In the rare case in which you haven't found a crowbar, it might be worth it to check those three spawns. They aren't included in the pathings, because they are impractical to grab and out of the way, but when you need a crowbar, you need a crowbar!

Role call!
As suggested by the equipment section above, we will simplify and equate each color to one of the roles. Technically anyone could do any role on this heist, so long as one saw is on each side. You are free to make those adjustments on your own, but this guide will be going forward with the assumption that you will be doing "the usuals" for the heist and don't want to do roll call every time you do a rush.

Remember, if you have an issue with a role or don't know how to do it much, you can always ask to swap on your own accord, but it should be an exception, not the standard, to call roles like that.

So with that out of the way, we'll be going with this:

Green = SSW + Left Left + Loud Escape
Blue = ECM1 + Right Right
Red = Right Middle
Yellow = Left Up + Out

See the "Loud Escape Trick" section in "Important Information" for info on doing the loud escape trick as host.

And now for a more in depth explanation of what each term in the role call means and in depth explanations for each!
Left Left
As Left Left, and assuming host, your goal is to SSW at the start of the heist, hack machines in the Left Left area, help your teammates and ECM on a window.

You will throw your molly so it lands right before the fence, give SW to your team and then enter through the window on the left side. After crossing the fence, your first priority is to get a crowbar, following the left side pathing, while killing all guards you encounter.

Crates in Left Left
As soon as you get a crowbar, you want to start opening crates in order to hack the machines.

First Room
Although this is called first room, you should start with the room closest to where you get your crowbar.
There is a total of 4 possible spawns in this room, but only 1 or 2 crates will spawn in any given Election Day.

Second Room
Although this is called second room, you should start with the room closest to where you get your crowbar.
There is a total of 4 possible spawns in this room, but only 1 crate will always spawn in any given Election Day.

When you are done with your role, you want to go cover your teammates while following the rules mentioned in the general cover section. While this is true, it often makes most sense to go Outside after Left Left, to have an easier time placing your ECM on a window.
Left Up + Out
As Left Up + Out your goal is to hack machines in the Upstairs and Outside area and help your teammates.

You will open the fence on the left side with your secondary saw and then enter through the window on the left side. After crossing the fence, your first priority is to get a crowbar, following the left side pathing, while killing all guards you encounter.

Crates in Up + Out
As soon as you get a crowbar, you want to start opening crates in order to hack the machines.

Upstairs
There is a total of 6 possible spawns in this area, but only 2 crates will always spawn in any given Election Day.

Outside
There is a total of 4 possible spawns in this area, but only 1 or 2 crates will spawn in any given Election Day.

When you are done with your role, you want to go cover your teammates while following the rules mentioned in the general cover section. There is also another thing to consider while doing this role. After you are done with Upstairs, Left Left might already be outside, in that case, feel free to go help a teammate before going Outside.
Right Middle
As Right Middle, your goal is to hack machines in the middle room and help your teammates.

You will open the fence on the right side with your secondary saw and then enter through the window on the right side. After crossing the fence, your first priority is to get a crowbar, following the right side pathing, while killing all guards you encounter.

Crates in Middle
As soon as you get a crowbar, you want to start opening crates in order to hack the machines, starting on the side of Mid closest to where you got your crowbar.

Mid

When you are done with your role, you want to go cover your teammates while following the rules mentioned in the general cover section.
Right Right
As Right Right, and assuming blue, your goal is to ECM at the start of the heist, hack machines in the Right Right area and help your teammates.

You will place your first ECM right before reaching the fence and then enter through the window on the right side. After crossing the fence, your first priority is to get a crowbar, following the right side pathing, while killing all guards you encounter. You will also be placing the second ECM while you are hunting for crowbars or opening crates.

Crates in Right Right
As soon as you get a crowbar, you want to start opening crates in order to hack the machines.

First Room
Although this is called first room, you should start with the room closest to where you get your crowbar.
There is a total of 4 possible spawns in this room, but only 1 or 2 crates will spawn in any given Election Day.

Second Room
Although this is called second room, you should start with the room closest to where you get your crowbar.
There is a total of 4 possible spawns in this room, but only 1 or 2 crates will spawn in any given Election Day.

When you are done with your role, you want to go cover your teammates while following the rules mentioned in the general cover section.

Day 2 (Swing Vote) Extra Loot Variation

While the normal variation is great for its speed, the experience gained from the loud escape, and the stealth bonus that you get for the next heist, there is another variation that takes advantage of the XP values given to bags on Election Day after update 235.

Money on this heist gives 500 base XP, and gold gives 1000 base XP.

Considering that theres always downtime while waiting for the final machine to finish hacking, theres no time loss to grabbing money during it, and considering theres 7k base XP worth of bags inside in the truck, and considering how close the truck is to the van, its a very lucrative exchange for the cost of only ~10 seconds, and thats exactly what this variation takes advantage of.

This variation specifically aims to grab 2 money and all 7 gold as efficiently as possible, adding 8k base XP (almost half that of Diamond Store's 20k base), for only 10 extra seconds.
Ecm Rush Rundown
What is this section?
As with this guide and all future guides, we will use this section to specify ecm order, what equipment changes from the usual, what skills might be different from the default skills set, and to link back to the main guide that all of this is referencing. Unfortunately we don't have a main hub guide yet to reference, we will soon!

Ecm Order:

Ecm order is changed to B G then B or G dependent on who hacks the final machine, whoever doesn't hack it places ecm.

Hosting and Preplanning info:
Type "da" and select the first one.
Spycams can help spot guards during preplanning, so buy those.

Weapon Changes:

As opposed to the standard variation, there is only one difference:

Saw players will want to have a durable blade on their Secondary Saw, in order to saw the cages without reloading.

Skill Changes:
None.

Perk Deck Changes:
None.

Role call!
As suggested by the equipment section above, we will simplify and equate each color to one of the roles. Technically anyone could do any role on this heist, so long as one saw is on each side and saws always look for money.

If you are still calling roles manually every time I sure hope you aren't doing it at least for this one because this one would require 3 separate role calls for one day of a heist which is complicated and a nightmare, you do not want to role call this every time, just get used to which each color does please!

So with that out of the way, we'll be going with this:

Green = SW + Money + Right + Up 2nd
Blue = Money + Up + Bottom 2nd
Red = Money + Bottom 1st
Yellow = Money + Right + Up 1st

If you're confused what right/left/up means, or what up 1/2 or bottom 1/2 mean, an explanation will be given in the "Through the wall Gold" and "Inside Gold" sections in the next part of this guide, so don't worry!

Everyone will take on the mantle of finishing the guards, but SW in particular will be in charge of killing the upstairs ones on the way back via AP pistol.

Kind of mouthful isn't it?
Yes! These role names are just to describe what you do exactly and not meant to be what you call each role in shorthand during rushes.
During rushes just refer to each role as Green, Blue, Red and Yellow and only reference the specific aspect of that colors roles when needed.

And now for a more in depth explanation of what each term in the role call means and in depth explanations for each!
Money and Gold
Money:
As soon as 6 is called and ecm is placed, if you are part of the money role your goal is to try to split up and saw open as many of the cages as possible to find money inside of them. There is 6 money randomly distributed through all of the cages, with little to no rules regarding how many can be on each side or in each cage. There are 8 cages in total with 4 being on the left side of the map, in LL's second room, and 4 being on the right side of the map, in RR's second room.

Both red and yellow should go to a different side of the building to saw open all of the cages for money first, then begin checking them from the last one they sawed, with blue and green both going to different sides as well to search the first cages they sawed. Be careful, the money can be hidden behind other objects in the room!

Your goal is for 1 saw and 1 sw on each side, with the sw being a checker of cages for money right off the bat, and the saw only starting to check after finishing sawing all 4 cages on their side, that way all 4 players can check 2 cages approximately and know exactly where the money is and communicate it to their team very quickly.

Tips:
  • Always try for 3 money, in case you can't get 2 money in another Election Day during the rotation.
  • If you find one money, but no one else has any, continue sawing and looking for some in other case, you can call for someone to come grab one if you find one.
  • If you haven't found money by 12 seconds left of the ecm timer remaining, you just need to leave.

Through the wall Gold:
The left/right/up split refers to the three positions in which you can grab gold through the trucks side. After returning with their money, 3 players stand in set positions to grab all 3 through the wall and secure them before heading into the van to grab the inside gold.

Here is an image of said split and the gold hitbox/location compared to the how it looks on the inside.

Here are the positions that everyone stands at to grab their respective bag:

Inside Gold:

The Up/Bottom 1st/2nd split refers to which interior gold you will be grabbing after the truck opens fully, and during which turn. Always wait for the other person on your side to grab first if they are scheduled for first turn, no ghost bagging allowed. You have more than enough time to wait to visually confirm that the first up/bottom bag is gone before grabbing yours.

With all that out of the way, lets look into the specific roles that each player does, combining all the aspects of money and gold looting!
SW + Money + Right + Up 2nd
As per usual with host in Election Day you'll do SSW at the start, do your role as per usual, adapting to doing your ecm as the second in the heist. Everything is normal with your role thus far, however as stated in the roles section, when someone types that they found the 6th crate in chat (or says so in vc), immediately place an ecm if you aren't the one doing the 6th crate.

The sooner you do it after 6 is called, the less time will be spent wasted waiting to do a manual loud escape trigger, however never place the ecm before the 6th machine has started to be hacked, this could cause you to have too little time to grab the gold and it may gold loud early, forfeiting your 15% stealth bonus from that day!

After the ecm has been placed by you or green, you pick a saw to follow as they open cages on one of the sides of the map, either side is fine as long as you aren't on the same side as the other SW.

Your priorities then shift to searching the cages the saw opens for money while keeping SW uptime. Remember you've got until the ecm timer says around ~13 seconds left for you to get a money, and remember to just leave if you don't find one! After you find one or don't, return to the van and prepare to get into position, but be sure to give yourself enough time to clear all remaining guards on your side as you leave with your ap pistol. Remember to keep SW active as you leave the compound.

After getting into your correct position for right gold (check the picture in "Through the wall Gold" section above) SW once when you see the 5/6 machines hacked objective switch to the next one, then grab your gold through the wall, secure it, SW again, then go into the van, wait for the second turn, then grab the final bag from the up position, SW, then secure it carefully. Wait by the side of the van as per usual and do a manual loud escape, you're done!

If you're having trouble with the lineup for right gold, heres a screenshot of precisely what it looks like to grab this gold from the correct position. Remember to aim as right as you can, don't accidentally grab lefts gold!

Money + Up + Bottom 2nd
As per usual with blue in Election Day you'll do an ecm at the start, do your role as per usual, and adapt to allowing green to do the second ecm of the heist.

After the ecm has been placed by you or blue, you pick a saw to follow as they open cages on one of the sides of the map, either side is fine as long as you aren't on the same side as the other SW.

Your priorities then shift to searching the cages the saw opens for money.

After getting into your correct position for up gold (check the picture in "Through the wall Gold" section above) simply grab your gold, then secure it right away. After the van fully opens up head to bottom gold, wait your turn, then grab the final bag from the gold down area. Secure it carefully, then step into the escape and make no noise so the host can do a successful loud escape, you're done!

If you're having trouble with the lineup for up gold, here's a screenshot of precisely what it looks like to grab this gold from the correct position. Remember to aim as up as you can, you don't want to accidentally grab greens right gold!

Money + Bottom 1st
As per usual with saw in Election Day you'll saw open the gate at the start, and do your role as per usual. Everything is normal with your role thus far, however as stated in the roles section, when someone types that they found the 6th crate in chat an ecm will be placed by either green or blue, but if they aren't doing it you can do it as well, assuming you have ecm skills at this point in the rush.

After the ecm has been placed by green or blue, your priorities shift to sawing open cages inside the building to find money. Do the side you're closest to, unless the other saw player (not blue) is already doing that side. Once you get there you can begin sawing cages, but don't start checking them until after you've sawed all of them already, one of the SW will check the first couple you sawed as you check the last couple. If you find two in one cage remember to call out, but also be aware of someone else calling you over to grab one if they found two as well.

As red, since you don't have an obligation to grab gold through the wall at the van, you can actually stay a bit longer, but don't push it. If it gets to 10 seconds or less without having gotten money, just come to the van. In either case, get to the van when you're done.

Once you get to the van, wait until the van opens up all the way. After the van fully opens up head to bottom gold, and grab from it instantly. Secure it carefully, then step into the escape and make no noise so the host can do a successful loud escape, you're done!

Since you don't grab to grab a gold through the wall, theres no tip or picture for where to stand, just enjoy the view!
Money + Left + Up 1st
