How to get started

In this guide I will help you get started so that you can start hosting your own races in minutes!

Set up a STREAMSIX account

If you're new to the platform, just click 'Register'.
This will take you to a browser and you can follow the steps there.
Don't forget to click the link in the Activation mail.
If you choose to 'Play as guest', your progress will not be saved. Don't say I didn't warn you ;)

Connect to Twitch

If you want to start streaming the game right away, choose 'Yes' and connect to your Twitch account. This enables viewers to join in.This is not required to play or to stream the game though.
You're free to stream the game through any platform you want or even play it live!
If you just want to do some test runs, choose No.
You can always connect to Twitch later through the Menu>Profile screen.

Create a game

Before entering this screen, the game has created a session with a corresponding join code for you! Now viewers and players can !join in when they want!
On this screen you can add or remove tracks from your playlist.
Pressing 'Start Game' takes you straight to the first Race!

On the track

You can toggle menu sections on and off. Feel free to practice with the Camera Controls until you really get the hang of it.

You can check the Top Ten and the Log to see who's doing what.
Clicking on a name takes you straight to that racer.
Don't forget, you can always Pause and Leave the game, or check the Help section for more tips.

Players can join in! Start your engines!

Once you have a game set up, viewers can join in through Twitch by typing !join or !play.
They can also join by getting the companion app for their phone and using the join code. Easy!
Once you press 'Start', or the countdown runs out, the race is on!
